How to Backfill Dirt Around a Foundation | Timelapse

- Here's a fun short video on the backfill. Time to put the dirt back around the foundation and get the framing underway for our dream home build. This part of building the house has been fun but exhausting. Looking forward to getting out of the dirt and seeing the walls go up! I sped it all up for a quick timelapse but had to do a full screen to encompass the whole shot. The full video will be posted in a day or 2. Enjoy!

Glad you're getting to see it Mom! Crazy how fast this is going up. Framers should be out this morning to put up walls now. I think we could be in this house by August or September and finally rest a little, hahaha. Then I'm planning my next trip down your way!

Short and sweet, yet satisfying!
That’s an easy backfill compared to the full 9 foot bock wall basements we backfill where have to brace the walls and take great care not to damage them.

There it is, lol. That's the wordsmithing I was waiting for. I suppose if you dig deep enough, you'll eventually hit China, and I hear they have great farming soil.
