38 years old? Wow! I’ve never met a horse that old! The oldest I’ve met was 30-33.

Mom's first horse died at 40. That horse had a daughter that is still alive today at 38, but it's clear she's winding down. We know the daughter's exact age because we watched her being born.
I have been around horses most of my life but have never seen one quite that old. And in such good condition. Good job mom 💖

CAN A HORSES TEETH BE CLEANED AND KEPT FREE OF TARTAR AND KEPT WHITE?
I have wondered that for years and I think that I don't think it can be done. They do take offence when you try to play with their tongue and just don't stand still for it. I was thinking they didn't give her a shot because of her age. When I have seen horses get floated they have always been drugged.

@@michellejones5541 Aha! I have only dealt with Warmbloods in Germany and my own Arabian.
@@NordeggSonya My ex-racehorse Thoroughbreds, one had to be drugged and the other was fine with it. Such different personalities and temperaments!
