Love the video! That's a crazy ball! Love from southern California USA!
We're glad you enjoyed it!
@@BondiVet love All of your videos! I am addicted! Please keep up the awesome work! You are angels!
This video reminds me of my Jack Russell who swallowed half a tennis ball and needed to have it removed. He still lived till a good age of 15.
Half a tennis ball, no less! Did he rip it in two first, or had it just been cracked in half through repeated play?
LOl, "it's not even ours, he pinched it."
Great job Dr. Scott. 👏 💜🙏
Excellent work young lady vet.
You all are caring people. That's why I like watching you.
I love the way the dog react when it woke op frome anesthetic but still was affected by the anesthetic. Whoosie
Thank you Doctor Scott and Team . What a lovely dog ❤🐶.
My late dog as a puppy swallowed a bouncy ball. I called my vets and they booked her in fir the next morning. 5 mins before leaving the house, she brought it up herself...was so happy
Bless his heart ♥️🐾🐾
"Classic puppy trick".
Good doggy!!
Wonderfull job ❤️
Poor baby, I hope he is fine and recoved after the operation. 🐶
Love all your videos you guys are doing amazing work. Such kind hearted people I watch here in Ohio USA
I want to become a vet and study the digestive system so this gives me a little bit of training before I learn about animal science 😅
Is there any possibility to see the videos without the censure ? Like im a vet student and i would love to see everything its very interesting
Unfortunately its a CZcams thing. They class it as graphic so they have to sensor it
@@chappo91rulz
They didn't do that on tv in the States (for example, on Animal Planet). They would just have graphic warning signs at the start of the show and before something intensive was about to come on the screen.
These days I have trouble finding "Dr. Dee" or "Dr. Jeff, Rocky Mountain Vet" on CZcams, but have seen other US vet shows on CZcams that seemed pretty graphic. (One was an independent vet show from Texas, but I don't recall the name).
@Mouse Treehouse thats the states completely different to Australia and our laws for these sorts of videos
@@chappo91rulz If someone isn't mature enough to watch, then don't watch. The rest of us deserve to see and understand more about how dogs innards work.
I believe there are uncensored versions, you just have to pay a subscription or something, there's an uncensored playlist on their profile! x
Poor Lenny having to wear the cone of shame over a pinched ball, hopefully he learnt from this and wont inhale any more things like this.
Cool video.
Maybe a suture could be passed through the ball and use it to pull it up? Could it be possible?
was there a way you could have punctured a hole in the ball to create something for the grabbers to latch onto? or is that too dangerous?
It likely would have been too dangerous as they would have to maneuver a sharp object down the pupper's throat
it was one of those hard plastic toys, it wouldn't have worked or really helped since it wasn't going to fit back through the jaw
honestly surprised pup didn't choke on it

YIkes!
Why did this woman think the ball would pass naturally.. come on now, have some sense. Glad they were able to save this pup. My friends dog ate part of a Frisbee and even with surgery it died because it had destroyed part of the dogs stomach and, I believe, the stomach did not heal well after surgery.
That's one crazy, pooch. Why do animals do things like that?
Immaturity.
It is interesting to see comments from US. It must look all so perfect and kind hearted. People in UK love to prise pride themselves what dog lovers they are. In a matter of fact thousands of dogs are being killed here in shelters. Every day in TV and online multiple times a day calls for donations from charities and rescues because of overpopulation. I have personally offered to adopt forever a small dog to main 20 rescues including RSPCA with exception of adoption fee which I suggested to be covered by public donations. They are between £200-700. They either ignored or responded that no rescue will give me dog "for free". I guess after all there is no such urgency that would surpass human greed. Rescues have dogs for free and they make pets a commodity for sale, charging people who are really rescuing dogs by securing life long care. Nobody really controls income for the rescues and how much they charge and where the money goes. After this experiment I am convinced it is a money making business where full time incomes have to be covered before the welfare of animals.
Like giving birth…

Well ngl not all people like looking at the bloody inside of a dog
Its Utube that blurs the surgery, not the vet
Hey, Mom, you don't know how to wear a cloth mask? Why aren't people wearing N95 respirators? Adults not being responsible. Adults have a responsibility to children.
