I think I'm going to try this one this week coming up.! 😉 thank u Peter, I just got my dapping block this week. Have enough silver n an nice 8ml CZ here so already to go. Made one of my first 4claw settings on a round chaneir two weeks ago with a 5ml Amethyst stone.. Was hard to handmake a 4.5ml chanier tho, I reckon a large one would be easier, u can check my work at #kendal_rings if u wish Peter. Would love to hear if you'd give a pass lol..
Hey have you a video available of you setting this ring? 🤔

There's a trick to soldering bezels to ring shanks and aligning them perfectly. You can use the flux as glue if you heat it the right amount. I set it up on the third arm so gravity holds it together and the ring is facing up so you can see it as it would be worn, flux it, line it up, heat it just before it starts turning glassy, let it cool slightly. Then it's glued together and you can flip the ring over and it won't fall apart. Then you can set it face down to solder it and you know it will look correct facing up. This technique really helps with large odd shaped bezels.
