Go to 'Settings'
Tap on 'Sounds & Vibration'
Tap on 'Notification Sound'
Choose the SIM card you'd like to change the notification sound on
Tap on your custom notification sound
Once done, the notification sounds you set will be used by default on your device. You can choose from a range of sounds, including your own creations, and personalize your phone

weird that they dont just have a button for Add new sound under the notifications. you have to manually copy the file to notifications folder

Incoming message no longer exist for separate sound. Samsung no longer support separate sound, and you are stuck with one sound on all apps. Please send complaints to Samsung to bring back separate app sound. It had worked, and now I have same sound as all other apps. I f you have any choices on phones, DON'T buy Samsung.
