The origin of the garlic bread thing comes from a Twitter post that said "Yeah sex is cool, but have you ever had garlic bread?" Although it wasn't originally meant for asexuals, aces quickly latched on to the idea that garlic bread is better than sex.
Cake is a similar story, though I think that one was made by an asexual, with the slogan "I'd rather have cake."

The butterflies in your stomach (for me) feels more like that feeling you get in your stomach on the first big drop of a rollercoaster. It might be an adrenaline thing, if I had to guess? I think the "butterflies" thing just came about because it sounds pretty

Possibly! Still, be sure to do ur research. If you feel like the aroace label suits u- take it. It’s not permanent as there’s nothing wrong with using another label if you feel like aroace aint it for you.
Recently, i noticed that most of my friends are in romantic relationships or really want to be in one. And i guess i worry about being left behind. Like will everyone feel awkward around me for being single? Will i always be the odd one out? And when i hang out with my friends i always have to keep their partners in mind. I dont know what exactly im worried about, im averse to change as it is.
