A proper 1980s throwback the good old crispy pancake,this one is the minced beef version #80snostalgia #cooking #food #foodie #foodlover #delicious #yummy #northeast #homemade
Kudos to you both for working full time and cooking and filming for us. I remember seeing these pancakes years ago but don’t think I ever had one. Yours look lovely. Thank you 🇬🇧
Never seen these before, but looked very good,I only remember crepes on Shrove Tuesday with lemon, and sugar.Interesting how the World over people make these sort of turnovers with different fillings, and different holders, puff pastry, tortillas, short crust pastry, even rolled out pieces of bread, then filled, crepes, and all delicious.I think flour tortillas could be breaded like this,if you didn’t have time to make crepes.Crepes can be stacked, and refrigerated,or frozen,I made a lot at one time in my job,and filled them over a few days, just sweet fillings.Plantain flour makes nice pancakes,I filled with caramelized bananas, and brushed them with chocolate, rum ice cream is good with them.😊
I was born 1980 and growing up i used to love findus crispy pancakes but didn't they recall them for being horsemeat and banned them, then they made a come back? Have i said this before sorry if i commented before. Lovely recipe i don't know if i would like this recipe it looked nice but not sure with the pancake mix xxxx
Ive never had a crispy pancake but I remember seeing them advertised, I think they were Findus if I remember correctly. Such a good idea Mandy, they looked really tasty. I love watching you both cook, thanks for all your hard work, take care. X
Findus crispy pancakes. That really is nostalgia. I used to love the cheese and ham ones with proper home made chips (deep-fried in the battered old chip pan) and peas. 😊
