That curry looks so good. I would never had thought to combine, butternut pumpkin, as we call it, curry, soy sauce, chinese five spice and tomato sauce all together. It was interesting how the butternut pumpkin thickened up the sauce when it boiled down. Really must give this recipe a go. See you soon.

I used to be 5ft 2in but I’ve shrunk some. When I go to the grocery it seems like every thing I want is always on the top shelf. So I either climb the shelves or lucky a tall person walks by😂😂😂😂

Hi, hope you had a good holiday. Just had your Chinese chicken curry for dinner, it was lovely & tasted so good, thank you for that, it's the first time I've made it so authentic
Most Chinese takeaway/ restaurants don’t make their own paste they use powder , it takes so long to make from scratch so they don’t . I’m not a fan of Chinese curry but I will give this a go as I seriously need to get on slimming world diet I’m like a wee buddha 🙈 never had a weight problem but now omg 😱 thank you nice cooking 👍 enjoy your hols 👏 beers 🍻

Love the recipe but I haven’t got a blender. Guess I could stick it in the food processor to blend it all together and thicken the sauce? Or any other suggestions? Have a good holiday both

A teaspoon is the best way to get that garlic and ginger out of your microplane it saves wasting that delicious garlic and ginger

Not being negative or criticising but if you wash the rice, it will taste nicer and be fluffier. You get the taste of starch if you don't wash it. I'm from a carribean background, and I've always washed my rice. You should wash it until the water goes clear. Plus a spoon of butter, salt and if you want olive oil.😊
You ought to get ya self some 2 or 3 teir steps so you can reach for stuff, thats what ive done.

Hi Linda hope it's ok to say something about the clotted cream, I just watched chef Rik on backyard chef showing how to make it on the stove top, took him about twenty eight mins then in fridge overnight to chill and thicken up. It looked amazing.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
