Hey, loved this video but I do just want to give a warning about the Kathleen Glasgow books, especially Girl in Pieces. The content is very very graphic and focuses very heavily on s*lf h*rm and also contains a very unhealthy relationship between the child in the book and an adult drug addict. It has been criticised as almost being written as a self destructive how to guide. I have read this book and as a 28 year old with a lot of experience in psychology, I do have to agree so it might be work having a read or flick through yourself before Emilia. I haven't read the other Kathleen Glasgow ones but I know one deals with drug addiction.

Watching Emilia become like a whole person with unique interests and personality has been so SO cool. I used to watch her as a teeny tiny baby and she’s still seems so kind and gentle. But liking Hollister as a preteen is such a canon event 😂😂

Not trash at all. Stickers make it unique and individual, just like you. When you get older and start to travel more on your own, you can even get a vintage suitcase and put stickers from all your travels on it. I know people who've done that and it's really cool!

The book girl in pieces is a really hard book to read Jonathan! Maybe once emilia is 13 she should read it bc its abt a girl sh-ing and being abused and her father dying to suicide... I read it at a young age and regretted it! So this is me just looking out for her. Hope this helps out💓💓
I read this book when I was Emilia's age but I was quite aware of the genre and what is was about so I was just a tennie tinyvbut shaken for a few days after finishing the book

Please read the Kathleen Glasgow books before Emilia. I've read them (I'm a teenager) and I struggled to get through Girl in Pieces. PLEASE PLEASE read them first as it has heavy topics such as sh and s**c*d*.

It sounded like the best Christmas ever for all the family and not just Emilia. You show the world that - even if you don't have much - Christmas is always better spent around family. Awww love this! Emilia has grown so much and I love that she is loving reading. I loved reading when I was younger and I now write books 😊
Also with the stickers I do this with my phone and kindle, but to save the stickers put them under a clear case but don’t stick them down, then you can change them out whenever you want and save them ❤

Since Emilia is about my age and she is at the age of hitting puberty etc, a book I got from my aunt for Christmas is “Are you there god? It’s me Margaret!” And it just an overall good book for our age! I recommend it and I love that she loved reading 😂

Kathleen Glasgow books are very mature and deal with heavy topics that might be more than someone Emilia’s age is ready to confront. If she reads them, please talk with her about what she’s reading and make sure she’s okay. All the best to you and your family 🤍🤍

@@theforgottendinosauryeah ..no. boy in striped pyjamas is written from a child’s perspective in the child’s voice making it a ‘safe’ way to approach a very important part of human history that I would say y6 onwards is ok to read. Kathleen Glasgow books are just very gratuitously dark, incredibly adult topics in a very adult manner. Not comparable at all :/
