- FC Barcelona is coming to Cardano to launch a massive Web3 project. This project has many aspects of what it is doing for the Cardano and Barca communities involving NFTs, environmental awareness, and community development of the Barca fan club. I cannot think of a better way to market the Cardano blockchain than through massive partnerships and initiatives like this.

As a soccer fan. Barca have revenue but are actually broke, so they need the money. So it's a perfect opportunity to get us out there due to their situation.

$1M is not a small amount of money but the price includes: partnership with a global brand which can be used for marketing + a product that could potentially bring new users to cardano. I think it's worth it. The only reason I can think of to not support this project is that with a sum like that could found smaller projects for quite a while. So, what do we prefer, more smaller projects funded for a longer timeframe for that money or one project by a big brand.

We need something man. I am tired of ADA Losing a cent here and there everyday. We need use case and we need exposure.

Catalyst funds don’t really work like that. The project will boost transactions for their users which will repay money back into the treasury
I’d need to read what they’re trying to achieve but unless they have a logo on uniforms or on the field or something idk how worth while it really would be. What’s the point to make nfts that just sit in wallets doing nothing. Not 💯 % sure I’m correct on all this though. Could be a good opportunity

If they asking 2 mil ada they are calculating it will be worth much more. For ex 5dollar ada is 10 mil deal. So fcb thinking ada will go up is good😅

This amount of money won’t really do much for Barcelona. They make like 800M yearly in revenue
@@dawsonallen yeah but most of that gets used on their wage budget and fines they are still paying just google there financial troubles and you will find out hense why the deal is only worth it they could get on their jersey as sponser or on billboards in the ground
