A funny thing you can do is get yourself down to one hit left, and the boss, then carry the boss to the edge of the stage and piledriver him into the killzone. He'll die and play he defeat animation, but you'll respawn onto the stage with the gameover screen. The boss will explode and it won't trigger the ending until you pay to resurrect. It's funny because wario can lay there in the empty chamber for hours and then finally get up and say "I WIN! I WIN! EHEHEHE!" to nobody lol

It's kind of a shame the international version of this boss fight is rather boring and underwhelming. Almost makes the build-up to finally facing the Black Jewel feel a bit anticlimactic.

What an interesting idea for a fight… be a shame if say, half the fight was cut for no reason….
The japanese version of this fight wasn't cut, that version was released almost a year later. It's similar to the PAL version of Luigi's Mansion.
