Music: Final Boss 2 Black Jewel / E3 2002 Trailer Composers: Norio Hanzawa, Minako Hamano Platform: Nintendo Gamecube Full Playlist: • Wario World Soundtrack
Even when facing the final boss, you only hear Wario's theme. Black Jewel: I hear final boss music...but...it isn't MY music...WHAT'S GOING ON?! Wario: Someone forgot who was the final boss first. HAVE A ROTTEN DAY!
This is the most Wario thing I've ever heard Probably the best song in the Wario franchise tbh It utterly encapsulates Wario's essence and puts it into the form of music Gotdam I love this character so much
This perfectly fits Wario's character, it's the most Wario thing I've ever heard. Wacky, jazzy, bombastic, yet oddly triumphant as it goes beyond what you ever thought it could be. Honestly one of my favorite songs of all time. God bless you Wario, you'll always be my favorite.
@Messy yeah, even his overalls fighter spirit is his official Super Mario artwork, they could’ve used his Shake It! official art where he does the W sign to make it match with Captain Syrup and the Shake King to better say this is the Wario from Wario Land, much like Biker Wario’s spirit follows the same artstyle as the rest of the WarioWare spirits, all coming from Gold
@@foursidekm the only move wario got that could be from world and it is a stretch, I'd say maybe his back throw but if anything his is built to be more wario land/wario ware.
I don't know about anyone else, but considering Mario jumps on lots a Goombas and the Luigi's Mansion series exists, I always thought Chief Chilly was a weird choice to guard Wario in SM64DS. Just imagine how cool it would have been to face off against Captain Syrup, The Black Jewel, or even Rudy The Clown in a *mainline Mario game*
Never made this connection with the guards and 64 DS. This is the only Wario game I've every played (In fact, I'm finishing my first 100% replay this weekend, as inspired by listening to these tracks), but I nonetheless agree that an opportunity was missed here.
@@BertrandAnares I know, I hope we get that version if the game gets a rerelease someday, the extra content isn’t really that much at all, but the final battle is more entertaining than the international version
Hopefully if they decide to rerelease this game on the Switch as part of a virtual console setup, they use the expanded Japanese version instead of the gimped version the West got.
Wario: I'm a number one!!! Black Jewel: Ha don't me laugh bring it on tubby. This will be fun destroying you. Wario: You want fun Wario show you fun. HERE WE GO!!! (Wario transforms into his apparition form and goes ham on Black Jewel during the second round only in Japan sadly.)
I so DESPERATELY hope that the recent leak that Namco is working on 3D Nintendo game remake is Wario World. I want to see this original fight back in the game. Oh and Co-Op.
Luigi: I face bowser's in the fire in hell Mario: I face bowser and bowser jr in their bathtub Wario: Well I face a black jewels with an eye and tentacles that shoots Laser In a world where all your destroys with funky music Mario & luigi: O_o
Waluigi: Why can't i face anyone ? Mario: Because you are the charrachter no one wants to have an adventure with Waluigi: (ANGER) Wario: STOP YOU ARE GONNA AWAKEN HIS HIDDEN POWERS OF REJECTION!!!
That’s not how localization works. They made a conscious choice to remove it. Edit: I guess the Japan version actually came out later and they made a number of changes including amping up the final boss with an extra phase and this music which is from the E3 trailer. My bad.
@@travisreberto1295 it was because they had extra time for the Jp version, just like with Luigi’s Mansion having a much better/harder Hidden Mansion in the PAL version, something the remake fixed and made international
Because the US/Pal version came out first, the japanese version was release almost a year later. This was back when some region releases were patched versions of the game.
Apparently this game came out in Japan 11 months after it came out in the west. I'm guessing Treasure took the criticisms that the final boss wasn't that great to heart, since they added an extra phase and this boss theme to the game.

Don't forget something, Wario is also A final boss

@Donny Thompson thank you
Praise be to the only fool who can reach top of the class with the bottom of his ass
Wario will always be number one. HE'S GOTTA WIIIIIIIN!
Oh Wario World Wario, why are YOU not the Wario we got in Smash?
At least we got this outfit as an alt.

Smash Wario probably takes more from World than Land at least

@@Tophat1607 a lot of people say the chomp is a reference but I doubt it. Things like the back throw, headbutt and jab seems to be from wario world
Man I wish this song was in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
I would love to slap some booty as Wario to this tune.
Persona 5? Vives
I would love to slap Wario's booty

The only connection I can make is his tendency to just tackle his opponents
Chief Chilly's 'stache is KINDA crooked and scribbly like Wario's.
because nintendo refuses to acknowledge that Wario often gets really cool and interesting characters
For me the biggest betrayal of Mario 64 DS was that Waluigi wasn't behind that fourth door
USA: Um...What did you do to the Final Boss?
JAPAN: We made another song and improved the Black Jewel! But...it's not in any other version.
It’s the song from the trailer, but god it’s a crime it wasn’t in the international version :,c

The Black Jewel is not the final boss... WARIO IS THE FINAL BOSS!
Always has been, since the 6 Golden Coins
So this is where the Chain Chomp Challenge theme from Mario Power Tennis came from
Donkarasu-96 I KNEW I RECOGNIZED THIS
This really feels like the tides of the battle are turning
Indeed, Wario's theme is breaking into the forefront.
The show’s over Black Jewel, IT’S NOW TIME TO FEEL THE WRATH OF WARIO!
I really like it when final boss themes become all triumphant in the last phase like this.
I think the word you're looking for is "hyped", because this song is really hype-inducing.
For me, it's some. Other times, I just love dark and hopeless final boss themes.
@@SnoozingDino I think the word "hype" is closer to exciting. With that being said, triumphant seems to be the right word.

You mean to tell me fighting a demonic jewel is weirder than fighting your greatest enemy and his son in a sky bathtub?
Super jealous that the U.S didn't get this.
Yah seriously and the fact on how it took fucking forever to get a playlist of this song
Nintendo didn’t have enough time to add it in so it stayed in the Japan version of Wario world

I pretty sure the Japan version only has this since it came out almost a year later
It's about time someone properly extended this. Also why must the states be cursed with a tedious fight
You probably heard about it by now, but the reason why the US version was like that, was because they released Wario World in other countries first.

Second Phase: **not localized**
**Nobody liked that.**
They really should have kept this theme in the localized version.
この曲熱くてかっこいいのに日本語版限定なのが少し残念
you are in WARIO'S WORLD now
Mario final bosses: *Bowser*
Luigi final bosses: *Ghosts*
Wario final bosses: *Eldritch horrors*

When this music plays at the second phase of the final boss fight, but only in Japan and not in the U.S.:czcams.com/video/l291zs8rLuM/video.html
Boss Theme Music
相変わらずワリオワールドの曲のすごかな
Same
ONLY IN JAPAN??
American players were screwed out of half the final boss and a dope theme for seemingly no reason.
Wasn't it because of time constraints for the US and PAL versions?
YAHOOOOO!
*E3 2002?*
They should remove the garlic dropped from the boss for a little more tension, but otherwise this phase is fun as hell.
This should've played at the end of Wario Land Shake It as the Final boss theme! (Instead of awkward silence)
IMO, the silence was more creepy than awkward. It made me concerned that I was about to get a bad ending of some sort. 😂
The beta trailer.. anyone ?
Wah
Yes. Why Japan only ?なんも疑問に思わずやってたけども…
海外版も黒い宝石とガチンコ勝負ができるようにしてほしかった
They should've played this track when Black Jewel is at low health in the US version.
"I win! I win! Hahahahahaha!"
WAH-AHA-AHA
Why were the states denied this?
Two words: time constraints.
Man, why did we get weenie hut jr version of this fight. :(
e3 2002 trailer music
You want fun why don't you go look up frames and wario it's the real wario
I think the may have cut this phase out because they thought it was too hard, which is kinda bullshit tbh.
The Japanese version came out later than the other versions.

US lucked out not duking it with Black Jewel to this theme.
hell you talking about this theme is baller
And Black Jewel's fight is literally one phase over and over. That's a serious luck out if you ask me.
Man you suck
The fuck you mean "lucked out," it's completely bullshit we didn't get this second phase and theme.
I’m not sure you know what “lucked out” actually means
