I actually like idea of putting Deadpool and Wolverine in the race. Not because I take it seriously as an Oscar contender but because I take it seriously the same way I took the first one seriously. It is a pretty weak year unlike last year… same way 2016 was a weak year. I can totally see it randomly get a Globe nomination if some of these musicals coming out this year kinda fall off because it doesn’t seem like you can just insert a bunch of shit in the comedy/musical category… same way Deadpool in 2016 did because that was a fun category that year with Deadpool and Sing Street making it in with La La Land. What about ‘The Wild Robot’? I feel like that might win animated feature and possibly will get a few nominees including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay. I mean, come on, the film is made by Chris Sanders who made Lilo & Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon.
I would love a animation movie to be nominated but as long as old people rule the oscar this might not gonna happened but i hope at least they dont go with inside out 2 just because they didn't awarded pixar for two years

Lilo & Stitch was only nominated for animated feature and HTTYD was only nominated for animated feature and score (and neither film won anything)
