The 2017 Toyota Corolla has a tone of safety features including the pre collision system (pcs), lane departure assist (lda), dynamic radar cruise control, and automatic high beams. In this video I go over the lane departure assist and dynamic radar cruise control.
This is a 2017 Toyota Corolla SE. The SE model is the sporty version of the corolla. It features a 132hp engine with the option of either a CVT or a manual transmission. Toyota's Standard Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) features some best in class (compact class) standard drivers aids. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

Toyota Corolla is the only car company that includes all these safety features standard. It's optional on Honda Civic and other small cars in this segment meaning you would have to spend $1,500 extra. This makes the Corolla the safest small car

I've driven it for a rental car. For what it is, it is good. Even though Honda's is only available option the tech is leaps and bounds ahead of Toyota and worth the money.

What's with the cam zoom to the dash and the check engine light being lit?
Most Toyota Corollas come from Canada. However, an American citizen can work in Canada, and Canadians can work in the United States, and for this reason, the Corolla is more a domestic vehicle than many General Motors products. I really like the idea of the radar cruise control, because it can automatically time the distance from the vehicle in front, and it will slow down as the other vehicle brakes. It can really take the edge off of driving in traffic where speed varies. The reliability of these small cars is stunning as well!
Actually if you try to intentionally change lanes without your turn signal on the wheel well very aggressively steer back into the lane, and it seems that it's more aggressive when you're actually using physical and put to do that without a turn signal, from my experience but I have a Avalon, this system doesn't act the same in every Toyota, I rented a RAV4 and it was actually more annoying in that And actually if you do this while the car is on a curve of the wheel will actually STEER the entire curve, and then turn back straight ... I have done this on late nights out of boredom

Does the automatic 2018 Toyota Corolla IM have that same Lane assist where it nudges you back in your lane? Cuz I'm really interested in the Toyota Corolla I am but I really want that lane assist
I'm pretty sure that the Corolla iM doesn't have that.
What's with the brake light and check engine light?
Seems like the engine is off (0 RPM) so all the warning lights would be on.

all these features work as well at night or in rain?
I can't say. I wish I could have tested it in those conditions.
Radar cruise control works flawlessly rain or shine. However, LDA does not work when it's raining out, nor at night when the lane markings are not clear. LDA uses a B&W camera to detect lane departure.
Thanks. I was researching the honda site and their dynamic cruise brings you to a complete stop and still start going again if your not stopped longer than 2 seconds. If more than 2 seconds you just push a button and the car resumes.
It works very well in night and rain. It even works in some snow, however, it is VERY important to have you wipers on so the camera can see. The lane keep system is very aggressive, though.

The corolla road noise is completely out of hand. If you buy one, get it dampened, otherwise you will lose your hearing over time. I already had to set up an appointment with my hearing doctor.

SHANE SWEENEY you must of had one that had problems. You have to have your ears checked?? My 2018 Corolla SE is extremely quite!
