- With Toyota Safety Sense P, the Pre-Collision System, or PCS, uses an in-vehicle camera and millimeter-wave radar to help detect the vehicle in front of your vehicle. In certain conditions, the PCS system included with the TSS P package may also help to detect pedestrians.

What part of millimeter wave radar do you confuse with sound waves? You've got to be about as bright as a box of rocks lol.
Urgent! Not true, this is false advertisement! I had a front crash in my 2019 RAV XLE ! Does not detect pedestrians or cars like the back detection system does so well.. Do not understand why the most important system works in the back and not in the front. Could not get any help from my dealer to fix this issue.Any lawyers out there to take my case?

I would suggest you do a short video explaining what happened to you and why you feel this system is a failure and title it something along the lines of "Toyota PCS Failure - Legal Help Requested". You can also ask for legal representation in your video as this is a serious issue that may mean people living or dying. I was considering purchasing a Toyota/Lexus vehicle specifically for the Pre-Collision system but instead will go back to Mercedes Benz who is the leader in these safety features and has a good track record with them.
PCS is not intended to replace a drivers attention on the road. It will help by braking to a stop or to reduce collision speed. You crashed, thats your problem, not Toyotas.

@@ChazVR That's the problem here: For some it works..for others it doesn't. Safety systems need to work ALL THE TIME. And Toyota's clearly doesn't.
@@Nightbird. true that, i know nothing about cars or anything but we were inches away from colliding with another car and our toyota literally moved itself away and started beeping
