I was 13 watching that halftime show with my parents. The awkward silence afterwards was deafening lol
These are great
That was the best most competitive SB i had seen up to that point
This is exactly the nexus of topics I want Wos talking about 😂:
Broadband Internet
Culture Vulture Timberlake
Public Nudity
Oh and hating on the Patriots
Panthers fan here. Devastating night as a child from a fan perspective, but we had the halftime taping on a different tv upstairs bc my mom always used to rewatch them (she’s a choreographer). After the mishap we all ran upstairs to watch again bc we couldn’t believe it lmao
Justice for Janet.
You can almost draw a path between this halftime show and the “values voters” getting Bush re-elected that year. Also it reinforced that you can expose your kids to all kinds of cartoon violence and terror in entertainment, but show just a little bit of boob and everyone freaks out and there’s a huge rush to shut it down.
It destroyed her career. I like her music more than mj's tbh
This singular moment is why the halftime show sucked so hard for years to come. They overreacted and overcompensated lol
It was obviously staged too. The fact Timberlake and Jackson both acted like it was a shock is still annoying.
hi
Hey man 👋, have a good day
No funny shit, for all the people who think doing what Wos did was easy just now, listen to that last minute. The eloquent way he delivered that closing statement was extremely well said, professional, and is why he gets paid the bread to do what he does. Expertly detailing the moment in our country and culture juxtaposed to other places in the world at large and hitting it on the head.
In other words, son was spittin fr.
ah yeah more race talk this is what we love to hear
