I love that Futurama finales are like a Schrödonger's cat situation. "Will we be renewed or cancelled? Let's end on something reality-bending and Fry and Leela's relationship just to be safe."
Pretty fun, crazy episode overall but felt like old school Futurama for the most part. A lot of talking from Farnsworth here and there but yeah. I think the writers just needed some time to find their footing again so I'm excited for the next season.
The first episode that brought me to constantly laugh on a regular basis again. Some others of this new season episode were also quite alright, even really good (with a few exceptions), so I hope for a proper continuation of Futurama. Let them have the time to find their freshness again ;-)
Finally a good episode. I don't blame them, it seems that every shows "see-nineteen" season was awful or weird. But I am re-watching the show and currently in S5 and every episode is an absolute banger. Hope the next season 12 is better!
I've been watching every single episode of the series to get caught up to be prepared for how the series now ends (well, for now), and I've loved every second of it. This was also a good season finale! I know people get a little divided on this season, but I liked it, even if its a bit rough in some areas. I can't wait to see what happens next.
I wasn't the problem with the episode anthologies are usually considered bad but this one really sucked it did not fundamentally understand Fry and Leela relationship and how I'm supposed to believe something so little it's supposed to impact the relationship to the point that she leaves fry. I'm an utter disbelief they actually went in that direction whether the spell or a joke at the end is stupidly executed and the idea that the product is piss poor and that's why the story is awful I'm not going to Fistbumb you because you purposely wrote your episode poorly for the sake of theme it's still a bad episode
@@OfficialScottRTea herself, however, has gained a bit of recognition after recently lending her vocal talent to the boss music for a raid in Final Fantasy XIV. It's called "In the Balance," and it's a great song.
Ironically these recent episodes make Futurama feel more like Rick and Morty like the good episodes of R&M they took inspiration from Futurama and now futurama's taking inspiration from R&M I find that incredibly sweet.
Wait this is the end? I was honestly hoping for a more happily ever after end finally for Fry and Leela… the kind where they aren’t doomed and can live their whole lives with everyone without any Romeo and Juliet vibes…
The season was mostly pretty mid, a few really good episodes, one really lame one (the toy one, possibly my least favorite in the whole series) but most were just ok. I’m hoping the next season will be better, I’m cautiously excited, but I’m still questioning whether it was worth bringing the show back at all
This has to be the goddamn worst take I've ever seen Futurama came first I hate to say this but you're probably too young to know the original can every emotional moment in musical moment in Futurama surpasses helluva boss and I am in love with that show it just does not hold a candle to Futurama or Rick and Morty hell it's not even as good as invader zim which the show takes heavy inspiration from.

I sure hope so. There were some jokes that i swear felt like weregenerated via ai
Best part.... they got renewed for ANOTHER two seasons on top of the second season still to show.
Futurama's not leaving us for a while........ again.

Can't wait for Season 12/Season 8 Part 2.

Can't wait for it to air in like 2 years on our country TV...
I genuinely love Duck Fry and Egg Fry-Leela

What song is that? I wonder if it’s a real song.
Its called satellite, by tea. Very obscure song, the artist only has 6 monthly listeners on spotify (although I'm sure that will go up now)
Wow! Props to Futurama for using such an obscure and lesser known song!

Well that a interesting and wild as fuck ending

Yeah, that one ending with Fry and Leela aging was perfect. This is more like a side B kind of season.
This is great ending. No matter they live in the simulation. They should live as good as they can and not think about that they are real or not.

Futurama feels like helluva boss but made by Matt groening

This season was just dull. It just felt like a water downed version of the show
True. They really need to up their game if they want the show to survive.
yeah when I was watching this one im like FINALLY. Most of the season were below average or just ok
