- For the 5th anniversary of Prusament, we wanted to prepare a special, limited run of a unique take on one of our popular colors. The Prusament Super Galaxy lies somewhere between our PETG Ultramarine Blue and PLA Galaxy Purple, with several colors of glitter inside. Plus we added way more glitter overall.

Please make this permanent, I love it
Would be great if all spools could come with one transparent side... and if this would become a permanent new color instead of a limited one. Looks so nice.
Nice color of filament
I would buy Prusament if you had a US distributor. I buy spools one at a time as I need them, and that's not really economical when a $30 spool costs $15 to ship 😩
You should buy two at a time because the shipping for two spools is also $15. They have a specific size/weight deal with FedEx for two spools, and no discount for just one.
They do have a US distributor. Prusa Owns printed solid...
@@sissyspaceship really? I didn't know that, thank you for letting me know. I thought printed solid was just a reseller, and the last time I looked they only had a small subset of the available colors and low stock...
Problem is with the US is shipping costs are INSANE high and thats without taxes so a filament spool from the EU not bound to prusa will cost around 60 dollars a kilo if not more.
Maybe make the Prusament filament here in the states? And as for Printed Solids. Meh. Not impressed. Is a Voron, Jessie, PC imports, etc; reseller. Very few Prusa parts and no current printers, more of a last years model after market if you will. When I heard that they “bought out Printed Solids” I though it would be more like a US Prusa site/store and was so stoked and couldn’t wait to be able to buy Prusa products here in the US at an affordable price. But, no. It just feels like an unfinished Prusa project. 😢
Why don't you make all the prusament spools transparent (even just half). It would make it much easier to see how much filament (prusament) is left.
This stuff is fantastic, please please make more. (Also more transparent spools)
I wish it was PETG, so i could print parts in this color for my MK4. Anyway, i bought one.
Uuuu, shiny!
amazing wish i had 40 usd to drop on one roll of filament
Wow!
Already ordered
It seems to jam a lot on my MK3S+ at 215 C. I'll try to print hotter and see if the jamming continues.
Would be great if these spools fit into the Bambulab AMS without jamming all the time
Hmmm, proprietary Chinese format vs open source format. Go figure. We've all got choices to make..........
@@shelbyseelbach9568 I'm sorry to say it but that chinese proprietary stuff just works better than what prusa is cooking up and I say that as a developer using linux, loving open source and even contributing on github. I had a MK3S+ and honestly it was just crap. You had do dial in everything over and over again and it still didnt work to a degree I deem to be good. You got none of that crap in the X1, it looks better, is faster, more reliable.
Even their new MK4 is behind the X1 and nobody will upgrade to it from a Mk3s+ because you could buy a new printer with that money.
@@shelbyseelbach9568 and you know whats even the funniest thing? Old spools from 2 years ago fit fine, new ones from last month not. What a coincidence it doesnt fit because it is 1-3mm wider
@@shelbyseelbach9568are you still there? I'm waiting
With that price it seems more like a fundraising. I love Prusament, but not at that price.
Feel like prusa have really taken a backseat this year in the industry
seems like you guys aren't taking bambu lab seriously.. its obvious they are coming after you specifically for every 3d printer model, website, filament, etc. Chinese tech company moves extremely fast.
It's so wasteful to sell the spool housing, you should sell spool refill packs instead. I have plenty of empty reusable spools that would appreciate it.
I thought everyone hated Galaxy purple
Nope, that's gorgeous
Did you see today's bambu lab a1 announcement?
Why are Prusament spools still plastic? I thought that we can already make great cardboard ones?
So you can use it in a Bambu Lab AMS 😅😅😅
The central core is cardboard. and you can buy refils that have no plastic spool parts.
Cardboard spools suck. They don't roll worth a damn on anything and I've had one fall apart with 95% of the filament still on it, instant tangled mess, ended up going in the trash. I only buy plastic spools now. I would much rather be able to buy refills to put on a split spool, as if I needed another spool I would simply print one and put my filament in it. This is the ultimate way to reduce waste, manufacturing costs, and even shipping weight. Just seems like a no-brainer to me?
What is that weird face on all the products
I bet all the comments here will be "first"

The fact that your comment doesn't say "first" made you wrong the second you posted it .........
