- Unfortunately, I have injured my back since recording this video which has prevented me from returning to the camp spots that I found. I'm working hard to get back on my feet so that I can get back to them before it's too late. Thank you all for your support over the past few weeks 🍀

THANK YOU all so much for your support over the past few weeks 🙌 This video was recorded a few weeks ago while I could still get out and about.
If you are new and have no idea what I am talking about, I have injured my back recently which has prevented me from returning to the camp spots that I found within this video. I'm working hard to get back on my feet so that I can get back to them before it's too late.
The video's will keep going over the next few weeks and soon I hope to be back out camping in the woods and the mountains for some snowy winter camps 🥶 Cheers for sticking with me 🍀
Wishing you well Jason
All the best
George
Let's start a gofundme and get a new back for dear Jason to get the lad out more...
Are you far from your home when you go camping?like normally how many miles or kms are you away from your home.I like to get be a couple of counties away anyway .
Nice video and it's great to see you making plans for when you can get back out. Stay strong brother!

Brillinat job man. you found some nice little hidden spots. Nothing worse than going back to an area to see it cut down. Hate it. Love butting the craft in to find camping spots. Its all part of the fun of camping. Well done for taking the rubbish and bags out of these areas as well. Kudos for that.
Thanks a mill, ah yeah I just have to make sure to get back to them sooner rather than later. Lesson learned 🍀
Hope you and your family are safe and well. You're in our prayers.
Thanks a mill, we're all good. I hope you and your family are keeping well 🍀
Great to see you out and about. 👍
Cheers, this was recorded a few weeks back when I was still able to get out. Its only a matter of time before I'm out again 🙌
Yes that’s just it. I’ve spent maybe 40 years hiking around lovely places like this. And when the time comes round to fell the trees some more will be planted. Looks a bit messy for a while, but then nature takes over. What’s not to love.
Make the most of them while they're there and just keep finding new areas to explore. I love spending a few hours like this. I hope that I will be able to do this for 40 years, fair play 🍀
I haven't got any locations like that, anywhere within 10 miles from me..❤😢
This area is 20 miles from me 🍀
Great spot to be roaming Jason. Sorry to see your back is still an issue mate. Lovely areas to set up but I would be freaked by any cracking sounds during the night as those trees look a bit unsteady 😂 Will have to start calling you The Goat after scaling those dodgy inclines!! Have a great week 👍
🤣 the goat.. I'm just happy that I didn't fall head over tits. I'll be back camping soon hopefully, I hope all is well with you🤞 Take her handy 🍀
Ur hikes really appeal to the younger hikers like me .ur heading to this video says it all. Focus on something worth while we we still can 👍❤️
Cheers Luke, it is definitely best not to take these places for granted 🍀
Great video, hope your back is improving, love watching ❤❤.
Cheers Alan, slowly but surely 🍀
Couple of nice spots lad.... 👌 beautiful doesn't do it justice..... hope you are doing good
Thanks a mill, I'm grand. I'm hoping that I can get out for a hike in a week or two 🤞 Take her handy🍀
I reckon (just my opinion) you're the sweetest camp vlogger out there...
😄 Thanks a mill 🍀
@RamblingOn I reckon your a true bushman & not a "wild camping ireland"
@@the3rdchin340 I like the sound of that 😄 thanks a mill
Enjoyed your video Jason. Keep up the good work 💪
Thanks a mill 🍀
Good to see another post Jason, hope the improvement is steady. Look after yourself.
Thanks a mill, it's no better or worse so I won't complain 😄I hope all is well with you too, take her handy 🍀
Good luck is rite 👍
Nice lunch😊
Looking forward to seeing you camping in some of the spots you're finding Jason. Hope you're back is on the mend and you can get back to doing what you love soon 🤞 All the best mate 👍
Cheers Sean, I can't wait to get back there. I hope all is good with you, all the best 🍀
Nothing better than mooching about looking for potential camping spots, it's amazing what you can find. Hopefully you'll get back there and have a camp soon. Cheers!
I love spending a few hours exploring the woods, hopefully you're back in the swing of things and getting out for a few camps. Take her handy 🍀
Cheers Jason another cracking video you allways make me smile😁
Glad to hear it and thanks a mill for joining me 🍀
😮😊nice place man, I hope your back gets well soon. I pulled a hamstring just before Christmas. Take care
I hope that you are on the mend 🤞 I'm still not pain free so I'm taking a break from recording videos to focus on trying to get myself pain free again. After that I'll be camping any chance I get 😄
Awesome vid, the spots looked amazing. Look forward to seeing the camp vids.
Im looking forward to getting back there, thanks for watching 🍀
💚
Great video. You found some beautiful jems there
Cheers Lisa, the small one under the trees by the river was my favourite. I hope all is well 🍀
@@RamblingOn I agree that as stunning
Great video, thanks for sharing and keep up the good work! 😊
Thanks a mill 🍀
Aw, man, sorry youre still dealing with that. those spots look like magic. you gotta heal right, though. even if it takes more time than you’d like.
100% I'm holding off until mid January regardless so hopefully I will be okay to go camping by then. Even to be able to get back out in the woods for a walk like this would be great
Hey fella', i just gotta' say bleedin' loved this video. Not seen any video's like this on other channels to do with scouting for potential camping spots.
You know, the only thing missing in some of those spots you found was a unicorn grazing in the dappled light.
Heal up brother, and take all the time you need. We're not going anywhere.
Ps will you quit with the planting of rubbish and then finding it to take with you..? It's getting old fella'...
😁
😂 yeah I suppose if I didn't put so much effort into planting litter in advance it might save me some hardship 😄
I cannot wait to get back out to that little spot by the river. It's been on my mind for weeks.
Thanks a mill for joining me, there are great things to come in the next few months if I can get myself sorted 🤞
Just seen this video after a very similar day of exploring my own local hills and forests for camping spots. Good to know I'm not bonkers for spending my Sunday afternoon that way, or if I am then at least I'm not the only one 😂 Great video, look forward to seeing the next one!
There's few better ways to spend a Sunday afternoon. Time well spent I reckon. Hopefully you found a few nice little spots while you were out 🤞
@@RamblingOn Absolutely, an afternoon well spent! I found one or two spots but I had set off too late in the day and was conscious of losing light. Will get back up next weekend for another nosy around and then back for a camp soon enough!
Nice one Jason....I can almost smell the forest ❤ Hope the back is better soon 🙏
Thanks a mill Niall 🙌
Plenty of camp foraging finds there Jason 🤗 Great to have some new sites to dream of while you're recovering, you've so many to choose from!! It looks a beautiful woodland to explore 😎
It was my first time in that area so I'll definitely head back there. That little spot under the trees by the river is the one that's been on my mind the most. I can't wait to get back there 😁
well done on another fine video Jason, the Slieve Blooms look awesome! Hope you get well soon and be praying for you bro, all the best.
Thanks a mill Ross🍀
Hey Jason, a nice little wander in the woods. And glad to see the old Karrimor down jacket making an appearance.
Sorry that you're still having back problems, but you're certainly moving much better than you where.
Glad to see you planning some adventures for another day; I'm looking forward to seeing some more camps, when the weather improves in the spring.
You take care buddy! 😊
This was recorded a few weeks back, before I injured myself. I'm not moving that gracefully yet 😂 The video last week was recorded and uploaded in the same day. Sorry for the confusion, I just wanted to check in with everyone in last weeks video.
I'm hoping to be out well before the bring. Some nice deep winter camps, frost and snow. I can't wait so that's the aim.
I just need my back to be okay and I'll be out every chance that I get😄 Take her handy🍀
Hey Jason, very nice video. Love to see the woodland "off the beaten track" as you were in most of the video. Pure natural growth everywhere. Hope you are on the mend.... Look after yourself 😉
I'm no better or worse in the last few days so I won't complain. I love the natural woodlands, most of the time in these areas you only find pockets of them among the pine trees 🌲
Hi Jason. forest camping !!! . Not for me thank you. I only did one forest camp and not by choice, too many unknown sounds at night . Good to see you out and about. I agree the forests look terrible once they have been cut down. You captured nice sounds of the streams and nature. You looked like you enjoyed your time there. All the best 👍
Ah you get used to the noises the more that you do it. It's by far the easiest way to camp I reckon.
I'm looking forward to getting back there when I get myself sorted. In my head my bag is packed 😄
Take her handy 🍀
It's the crazy creek hex 2.0 that you use, don't you? Still recommend it. I've got family going to North America this Xmas so might be able to finangle them to bring it back to me. Otherwise, wishing you all the very best in your recovery, Jason.
Yep that's the one. I wouldn't go camping without it, I'm even looking at buying a second one so I'm happy to recommend them. Thanks a mill 👍
Buddy I injured back wreck with tanker on big highway. 12 years still disabled. Use vehicle to carry gear. You'll find a way.
Where there is a will there's a way. Sorry to hear about your accident but fair play for carrying on doing what you love 🙌🍀
Unfortunately - I'm not allowed up the wicklow mountains on my own. After a slip and fall and smashing my head off a rock, nearly knocked me out or worse! Need a GPS tag lolololol
Ouch that sounds horrendous, can't let you out anywhere 😄 If you have a garmin watch some of them have a live track so that your family can creep on you as you hike. Might just help with peace of mind but I hope you weren't too badly hurt
