Can I use IAM nerves damage,foot drop IAM in pains

I have severe ankle arthritis arthritis from a birth defect.
My joint doc says I need multiple fusions. That would cause me to miss a lot of work.
I feel like a would need a load baring brace? Braces that just stop the ankle from moving don't seem to help much.
I would love a non surgery solution but even my doctor said there isn't one.

It's a nice idea. Knowing my insurance, they would never pay for it. Broke my ankle years ago from sliding on ice halfway under part of my car. It's never fully recovered, now I was diagnosed with arthritis surrounding it and really painful sometimes.

They do have a dropfoot brace yes. I am waiting to discuss with them this week to set up an updated map where people can get these braces
