The 2002 Stanley Cup Finals is IMO the most underrated Stanley Cup Finals EVER!!! Because the Detroit Red Wings are the oldest team to win the Stanley Cup in 2002! One of the greatest moments of sports history IMO from 2000-2009! The year 2002 will be remembered in or for the NHL (NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE) as this year's Stanley Cup Finals was The Battle of Red! THANK YOU, Detroit Red Wings and Carolina Hurricanes!!!

When hockey still fun to watch
I was in college living in a house with a few friends. We had people over this night and one of the people to come over was the girl who would become my first love. We dated for five years and almost married. She passed away four years ago and I still think about her daily.
Well hopefully this brings back a happy memory for you!
Jiri Slegr was a lucky man, he got to play in this game only because Jiri Fischer was suspended, and he managed a +2, including the empty-netter. Not too shabby.

OMG thank you SO MUCH for uploading this!!! I asked for the day off work back when it was originally broadcast but my boss wouldn't give it to me. The greatest lineup of Hall of Fame Legends in Red Wing history (maybe even hockey history) w/ Scotty Bowman retiring after beating Toe Blake in Cup wins as a coach and I missed the final game! But thanks to you I now get to see it in it's entirety! Cheers!
