My student has almost completed MMA Go so I am extremely excited about there being something new! I am a huge believer in heavy bag work, it always surprises me how some facilities don't have them. Well worth the investment for home training too. Congrats on rolling out another training program!

Really great!!!! Some pro Boxers i know would in round 2 lower also their stance in the knees as an evasive move when throwing the jab to the body which makes your face less open. But this is heavy bag and not mitts.

As the shortest guy in my local MMA gym, if I cant spar someone taller, I wont be able to spar anyone at all. If I wont be able to spar anyone at all, that wont be fun. I have times where Im left with no choice and really have to fight a larger guy which can sometimes be misinterpreted as "show off". But I swear I wasnt showing off, as much as I wanted a fair fight from size alone, im afraid that it aint gonna happen and I wont expect no more.

I’m 6feet tall (6’2 in shoes) so I’m not exactly short, but I also weigh about 300lbs at around 30% body fat, so I’m naturally a heavy weight and thus have to hard spar with some 6 & 1/2 foot monsters 😂 point is, thanks for the tips on fighting taller opponents 👍🏾

Jeff do you have tips for using burpees to increase endurance for kickboxing?
In detail I mean should one do
1)
3 min burpees 1 min rest (imitating sparring rounds)
Or 2)
some sets of 30 seconds with 30 sec rest?
Do you have any tips/opinion on that from your experience?
I personally do burpees just as a warm up, maybe 30-40 seconds after a round of skipping
@@MMAShredded ok thx. Our trainer made the fighters do them as a burnout after training 15 mins straight. But I don't think it's the best way. I think I'll start the 30 secs on off and try to increase the rep count every time

you definitely can free flow on the bag! Depends if you are trying to learn/develop new techniques or just free flow

o long but what you show today is not even 1% of your talent. You real talent is creating opponents attack into opportunity to land your attack. Your footwork & reflexes & head movement. You make it look so effortless but I never managed to copy it. Here you are showing a good basic combination but after that you're open in front of your opponent. A man of your talent should have shown how to escape after landing these combinations. 🙏
