@@jozitro4554 My Brother, I have read book of Enoch, and have to say, it has some cool worldbuilding ideas. Important part is to have a correct mindset. Book of Enoch is not canon for a reason, and that reason is not conspiracy, it is simply historical and authoritative issie, as well as doctrinal issue.

I came here to say the same about Uriel. Though, ive heard some say that Ariel is essentially Uriel, but either way Uriel was still unnamed. Plus, the entirety of the 13 Leaders of The Watchers, and the other 200 fallen were also not mentioned.

There’s something dualistic about these angels and demons, seems interesting like the old gods good parts became an angel and the not good or evil portion of the same god was demonized and considered fallen. Reminds me of the primarch all having a matching brother who would turn on the emperor.

If you're still curious, I advise looking through Muslim folk tales instead. He turns up from time to time, though I only know of one tale where he's a main character. In that one he hangs around Deli Dumrul as the latter is permitted to search for someone else who'll agree to die in his place, only to find out that it was all a ruse meant to teach the previously-fearless man the value of his life and that of the love shared between him and his wife.

It is my understanding that angels are inherently genderless, BUT if they present themselves to you then they will do so as males.
Consider that at that time when these stories come from, women were basically property. If an angel wanted to actually being paid attention without going full "do not be afraid" mode, a male form would be the most suitable.
@@THEO00900 strange, would be WAY LESS afraid if angels were women. Female "mode" would make sense, if a man appears near your house, or inside, with big musles, i would be way more afraid.

I would not call four or five angel names shared together as the measurement of how similar Christianity, İslam or Mandeism are despite their totally different theology. Plus, how Gabriel, Azazel and Michael are depicted very distinctly and Mandeist angels didn’t have common factor with the others for most of the time.
If one of those religions didn't want to kill and subjugate the rest of the wolrd we might be alright.
The judo-christian religions you reference all come under the title of Abrahamic faiths Judaism, Christianity and Muslims all believe in the Abrahamic god but all have Major theological differences when it comes to him. So although we do get a lot of overlap and are more similar to some other religions we are still very different from each other.
We Christians have a history of discarding and anathemizing heresies so no. We will not form peace with heresies, and we never have.

Raphael is and always has been my fave angel. You forgot he protects travellers, merchants and pilgrims, shepherds and musicians. Lots of crossovers with Hermes/Mercury

My favorite book of all time is "Battle of Apocalipse " from Eduardo Sphor. It s a brazilian book, so it is not só known worldly. But i believe already have translation for english.

In all fairness, depending on how you interpret the passages about Lucipher, he isn't a fallen Angel but is actually an extremely arrogant Persian/Babylonian prince.
Lucifer is not a fallen angel. Lucifer is a god.
No where in the Bible does it say that Lucifer was ever an angel
@@josuemunoz5498 There is an account in Ezekiel 28:14 where Ezekiel speaks to the King of Tyre on God's behalf and it is heavily implied that he is speaking not to the King really but to something else because this is what the passage reads "You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones." From this we could say that he was speaking to what was once a very high ranking Angel, (Cherubim are the very second choir of Angels in proximity to God). In the chapter it continues with (verses 15-19):
"15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.
18 By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching.
19 All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more."
This is pretty clear that this was a fallen Angel, and in Demonology, Lucifer was once one of the chief Angels of God, the light-bringer or light-bearer, and only Cherubim and Seraphim are described with fire or light. We can safely assume this is the mysterious Lucifer. Also, Lucifer is an Angel, there are no other "gods" besides God with the big G. Fallen Angels or demons will tell themselves as other gods, but they are still Angels.
We do not know what was Lucifer's original heavenly name, since it was stripped from him when he fell together with all the other demons. Lucifer in the bible was referring to the Babylonian King Isaiah was mocking, Lucifer is the planet Venus, it is more symbolism than it is an entity, or like a title. We attribute Lucifer to Satan because Satan as we know is the original Fallen Angel, and like Lucifer, the planet Venus, it looks like it is shooting through the morning sky and then down to the ground when the sun rises, it just looks like a heavenly being falling to earth. So, Lucifer isn't a name, it's a title, a term. Satan is the same, it means Adversary or Opponent in Hebrew, it's a title. The Devil is essentially nameless, yet having many names at the same time. We can call it whatever we like but we will always know what it means.
