You'll need to team up with terrifying animals, bloodthirsty mercenaries and the one true island god in order to escape and get home alive. I'm going to breakdown the mistakes made and what you do in how to beat the HOLLOW EARTH MONSTERS in Skull Island.

I like the video but there are 2 errors I noticed, first is that the bombs weren’t what woke up the creature but it would’ve attracted it to their location.The second is that drinking pee has the same effect as drinking ocean water because of the similar chemical makeup. Beyond that it’s a good video

there were other errors. i mean he kept talking about these people making a mistake about going to the island like those people didnt know . both the dads new and believed monsters existed and they were willing to go find and prove it no matter what. they were most likely bombing the ocean floor to hopefully attract the titan that cap saw. the boys didnt mean to fall in the water they slipped in when the croc lunged at them they didnt get out cause it wasnt coming inside and they were being dragged by the river

Bro because they jumped in a waterfall like river so for the croc monster it was a bad idea so he choose to be on land and also the croc is like a alligator on steroids and u know that alligators are good on walking on land

Yeah regarding the ocean mapping techniques it's clear that given that they referenced the movie Kong Skull Island meaning this is some time after the movie ended meaning this is placed time wise months or years after the withdrawl orders from Vietnam during the Cold War. This means that during this time period technology is limited by what is available so them using the bombs might be justifiable unless they do have such technology available to do better mapping during this time so not sure what classifies here as modern technology.
The movie is set in the 90s.
I'm not 100% certain, but I think this show is set a few years after the kong skull island movie, which takes place in 1973, so the ocean mapping tech you mentioned at the start (may) not have been an option.
But hey, Im not an ocean scientist or engrnesr from those years & and I haven't watched the show for myself yet so who am I to talk.
This is also me assuming this show is set in the cannon monstervers.

Isn’t drinking pee as bad as drinking sea water because of the similar salt content?
Correct; urine contains a high sodium concentrate in comparison to seawater, especially if you haven't taken a piss in a while ("first morning void" has a lot of garbage in it), so drinking urine would dehydrate you faster than not drinking it at all. Preserving urine would only make sense if you needed sodium-intake and couldn't find any, or were sweating it off more than you could intake. Alternatively if you could filter out the urine until closer to 99% water remained, then it might be a feasible short-term solution to a water supply, although I don't think anyone in a survival situation can perform that feat. 😅
@@206Zelda Would it be worth filtering urine though? Either you have a source of water like the ocean or you dont. If you dont then all youre doing is giving yourself a day before dehydration. It would be like cannibalizing yourself so you dont starve to death (bad idea. Energy would be used trying to heal yourself, you risk infection, etc)
And wouldnt creating a filtering system only make sense if youre going to stay in that place. If youre going to keep moving (like in deserts) then wouldnt it be a waste. If youre on an island then filter the water.
Filtering seems like the easier option since most people wont have the equipment or patience to wait for rocks to get hot then transfer them to a wooden bowl where the rocks will slowly boil the water then you have to figure out how to catch the steam so you can drink it. Maybe if youve been there for a month then its time to figure out how to boil water.
"Two studies have shown that filtering water through a sari - a garment commonly worn by women in the Indian subcontinent - can significantly increase its potability. In 2003, scientists discovered that filtering water from rivers and ponds in Bangladesh through a folded piece of cotton cloth taken from a sari cut the risk of infection with cholera by half. Interestingly, they noted that old cloth makes for a better filter than new cloth because the pore size of loose threads is smaller.
In a follow-up study in 2015, researchers found that a filter made of four layers of worn cotton material could filter out more than 99 percent of all cholera bacteria.
While boiling water is still considered a better way to purify water, scientists still consider the cloth technique to be uniquely useful. But whether cloth do the same thing for salt as it does for bacteria is debatable. According to the United States Geological Survey, fresh water typically has a saline concentration of 1,000 parts per million (ppm). In comparison, ocean water contains 35,000 ppm of salt. It entirely possible that Adilang’s clothes removed enough salt molecules from the water that his kidneys could process it without becoming dehydrated"

This guy gets ALOT of stuff wrong about the show so please don't take him too seriously, also....have you not watched any king kong media? Giant bugs are always a common thing on skull island. The 2005 movie literally has a pit scene of them. Skull island isn't just random odd creatures, it's a island filled with new and long thought to be extinct animals. Kong himself is a literal giant ape, let that sink in. Not an ape with wings or something more unusual.
Do yourself a favor and try looking into the franchise (or just the MV since this show is canon to it) before jumping to conclusions?. Also kong is never the main focus in his movies, the humans move the plot, not him. That's how all kaiju media works period.
