Of course because it originated before the concept of football, even the Chinese version a few hundred years ago (forgot the actual name).
Racism is a choice, sometimes it is inherited whilst other times it is merely picked up through life.
You could be born into a family who value this aspect thus making it your own from a young age whilst on the last few decades we've consistently seen the use of the N word in music, the very word used against people's ancestors.
If the entire collective community of football want to rid this problem then everyone whether it be from grass roots football all the way to professional level, players and supporters alike have to be given life bans, fines, criminal record for discrimination and even jail time for repeat offenders.

@Touhidul Islam Abir cause I read the report and watched the replays. Suarez first said he never said negro. Suarez then tried to say he was just calling Evra something his own united teammates call him. The report used lip readers and stuff picked up on camera/microphones. The Football Association's report into the incident, released at the end of December 2011, stated that, after being tackled by the Uruguayan, Evra asked Suarez why he had kicked him, to which the forward replied in Spanish: "Because you are black."
When Evra challenged him to repeat the answer and said he would "punch him", Suarez said: "I don't speak to blacks."
Don't even get me started on the biting. Suarez is an amazing player, truly wonderful. But get real with this "it was a cultural misunderstanding"

My respect for Evra (as a Liverpool fan) has been earned in full for this interview alone. He says everything right to of been said, in the right way 👍🏼
Suarez was a quality player, we all both loved and respected his talents at Liverpool - but i can safely say I wouldn’t have the same respect for him personally. I imagine I’m not the only one (I would hope anyway) 🙂

Patrice really is an amazing man. He seems really intelligent here, he doesn’t seem to hold a big grudge against Suarez and he’s more disappointed. The things he said about not blaming Islam and educating instead of punishing is so correct. It’s great that he can also be an entertaining guy too with his “I love this game” stuff
