I often wondered how Hitler got to power. Now I don't ask. The world has changed little since the thirties and a madman and his messaging can still be followed by masses. Hitler pushed blood purity that would ensure the survival of the Aryan race. Trump is taking his cue from Hitler's playbook.

There's a film made in 1947 by the US government warning about the dangers of fascist demagogues, called "Don't Be a Sucker". It's on CZcams and is well worth seeking out. The fact that Hitler said something doesn’t make it speech that can’t happen again, or inherently evil. The reason Hitler got away with what he did for so long. It is because he uses language that everyone can agree with, and everyone can get on board with. He uses language, and Pretends to have a position that is universally accepted. That’s why he was voted man of the year twice. That’s why no one excepted. The fact that he was murdering millions until two years into him murdering millions. I feel like the same people that compare Trump to Hitler would be the exact same people that would’ve excepted Hitler and congratulated him for man of the year.
