FACTS! I have been saying this since DAY ONE of his 1st campaign!! I was certain that sane people could see right through him. I can't rightly be pigeonholed because I would be considered an Evangelical Christian, but I am NOT a Republican. I consider myself an independent because no side has a monopoly on what is right and there are problems on both sides, but I could see through him from the very beginning and I figured everyone else could too-- until one day a coworker came in singing his praises. Now I had always suspected that this coworker had a couple of screws missing, and that confirmed it for me, but then I began to wonder how many people like her were out there. Turns out there are many.
Canadian here who has been very concerned since Trump threw his hat in the ring. I remember reading about him 35 years ago and what a braggart and nasty man he has always been. He is out of his mind and it’s been getting worse over the years. Right now, he’s at Jim Jones level of cult leader psychosis. Jim Jones, who also was a victim always, had 900 people killed themselves. He didn’t have the social media that Trump does and he wasn’t a reality TV celebrity. Trump has the ability and is trying to stir up violence. He has pitted American against American since the day he opened his mouth. Americans you need to think of your fellow American and not let this pathological liar, who has no respect for anyone but himself to decide your future for you. Do not follow him down the violent spiral. Stand up together.

Many people work 80 hours a week to get by and aren't considered poor. I think they are.
I wouldn't be surprised if long COVID, by itself, accounts for at least two percentage points of the 2024 poverty rate. 6-7 percent of the entire workforce has had to either stop working or cut back hours because of it. And that's mostly on Trump and Republicans.
