-1.2 and 1.0 are fairly close in terms of time for all sports, 1.2 loads about 6-7 seconds faster than 1.0, so in the end it loses something like 2-3 seconds
-It's likely Mr Shy Guy's time is a little faster if it was done on 1.0, but the time difference is fairly negligible, it would only be defining in a TAS. Definitely doesn't take away from his potential though, it's just not the 'oh he has WR but he did it on a different version' people say it is

10:10 Just wanted to clear up a common misconception with 1.2, is that the version has somewhat significantly faster load times than 1.0 and 1.1, making the time back up from the cutscene in loads (half a second per load). It's likely his time is a little faster if it was done on 1.0, but the time difference is fairly negligible, it would only be defining in a TAS.
