  • In this video I go over the installation and the use of the Micro Air air conditioning-heater Thermostat in my Country Coach which is able to be installed into pretty much all Luxury Coach from Monaco, travel Supremes, cornerstones Tiffin, and any Highline luxury coach.

I have a 1999 Holiday Rambler gasser with the original two a/c’s and changed out the control boxes and worked perfectly. I do the same as you. Go down the road and turn it on or off without having to hassle the kids.

I installed the same to run my three units. The wifi works great as well. I have a dedicated cell phone for my rv that connects my wifi router to the internet. So I can run ac units from anywhere in the world. I really bought the ac controller because i was tired of getting out of bed to adjust one of my three systems. Now I never touch the controller, all phone. Best couple hundred dollars I ever spent.

Brian, great video on Micro-Aire Easy Touch. I've had them in our 2001 Monaco Exec for two years and I LOVE them! Being able to keep track of the inside temperature when we're away from the coach is a big value and works perfectly. Installation was a breeze...initial configuration is not quite self-intuitive, but I eventually figured it out. The Wi-Fi transceiver is powerful, reaching from where the coach is parked about 300 feet to the house.

Thanks for the review. I will be installing one in my 2001 Intrigue before we head out in January. I will connect it to my hot spot in the coach and let you know how it works.

The wifi can be cumbersome if you are constantly connecting to different networks. You have to manually enter the SSID of the network you want to connect to. If you have a router in your coach that has a constant SSID, that would make things easier. Getting it to connect to different campground networks is sometimes difficult if they have a log in page or the like.

We put a permanent router on board and it keeps track of streaming, Alexa devices and the MicroAire. One SSD and one password for each campground.

Question since we're talking about heat. I have a line on a 1998 CC Intrigue that the owner says it needs a "heater core" for the driver area. Can you tell me if that is something that is a relatively easy fix or major labor intensive? Thanks and keep the content coming!

Hey Brian, can you give a update on your micro air thermostat. How it's working and did you install a new temp sensor. I'm curious on how to add one to my 03 American Eagle 40W.
