I cry everytime..combination of emotions and his signature EXTRAORDINARY vocal mastery...he was born with a one of a kind vocal resonance...he perfected it even more...
Watch his breath control and he never never hit a bad note ..he is in complete control of his vocal instrument.

A few days before he sings this he was suffering a terrible bout of bronchitis and virtually collapsed at the end of a concert in Europe. They had to cancel one concert, yet a few days later he sings Save Me, totally alone to start with, no musical backing at all and the crowd sing with him, they carry him, such is their joy that he wanted to be fit to sing in Milan, he sings it so well and at the end he motions off stage for an inhaler as he has exhausted himself, but he still did the concert. Someone to love from that same night is amazing too. xx
@@judithwilson3561 if you also watch Who wants to live forever , same concert...he literally cannot get his vocals out....he tells the audience, by motioning the mic in their direction to finish that song...I watched it once and that was it for me...to be so spent and truly risk it all to perform that night..
I was also reading he was asked by Brian and Roger if they wanted to remove Who wants to live forever and the show must go on and he said no.
Brian knew he was struggling at times....
Any other performer would have stopped and not gone on...for me I was worried especially when he could not finish who wants to live forever he might hurt his cords.
@@marlenemalin9808 yes, I've seen that one. At least he knew he couldnt manage it. The concert in Frankfurt (I think), the one where he was so ill by the end, he barely sings at all, by We are the Champions and We Will Rock You he's finished. Its awful to see him looking so ill, his face is drawn, its no wonder they had him on oxygen when he finished and had him see a medic straight away
wilson I just watched the end of the Frankfurt show....he literally stopped singing.... nothing left in tank...the fact that he even tried and got almost through it was amazing...but what is scary is that he could have injured his vocal cords...
Someone asked him about it on an IG live he did a few years later and he said he was super sick and was the only time he had to cancel a show while with Queen.
What is so incredible to me is that when he sings this song and The Show Must Go On, they are usually near the end of a 2 1/2 hour concert. He just gets stronger the longer he sings. And they are 100% live, "no clicks" as Roger says. Roger also commented a reviewer saying their harmonies were suspiciously perfect. They are live, no backing tracks.
I have a handful of suggestions from his pre-Idol days (prior to 2009). He made a living in musicals, performing in touring companies and later in Los Angeles just before Idol. In a couple of these, I guarantee you haven't heard him like this. I'm also throwing in one that isn't from a musical but is just amazing. Here we go. Great news. Remember I mentioned he'd has a mini residency scheduled for Vegas in 2020 that got cancelled? Adam Lambert is the best singer I have ever heard and that’s saying a lot because I have heard good singers but every time I hear him it just does something to me. I love him and I love Queen.
I love your reactions as you’ve been discovering Adam! I’ve seen Adam live 3 times and I had tickets for 4 of his performances in Vegas that got cancelled due to the pandemic. I love your reactions and am happy to support you. Watching someone react to Adam the way those of us who love him is exciting to me. I know what's coming, and get the thrill all over again when you look into the camera with the WTF just happened reaction!! He can obviously SANG, but he has such magnetism and the ability to make you Feel Something (another of his songs from Velvet and his charity foundation) that make him stand out. Not to mention that he a funny, kind, and generous person as well. He's so positive and supportive when asked about other performers as well. He's definitely one of a kind!

You won't regret it. I saw them a few years ago and am going again next June.
@@SA-oe5fh it’s my first trip abroad and I’m going alone but I’m going! Brian’s mild (not sheer) heart attack woke me up. I hope those guys are rocking into their 90s but the point is I missed them in 1982 when they came to my city and I would regret not ever seeing them. So glad you’re going, too!
My only regret is not getting to see Fredfie live but Adam does a more than capable job.

I am just glad Adam Lambert is in this world now. 💚#Velvet💜 his newest album, is the best music of 2020!🙌🏾🙌 Adam music is streamed at least for 8hrs each day in my house. Please check out Adam Lambert’s performance of Cher’s #Believe Kennedy Centre Honours. Unfortunately, the Grammy Awards are the only group that failed to see/ hear perfection & Excellence in the performance. Adam Lambert is the best male vocalist today.

What you speak of at 3:00, how Adam's voice gets you, Physiologically ....Well, hearing him in person, I can say I've never had such an immediate, powerful, visceral reaction to someone's voice like with Adam's! Pure magic.

You should go back to the beginning and watch his American Idol performances. It’s were Queen first discovered Adam. Roger Taylor of Queen said there is not another voice like his on this planet.

People have talked about how Adam has changed them. He changes your DNA, I swear. He changes you chemically or something. I remember people saying they were busy doing something while American Idol was on and his voice grabbed their attention and they haven't let go. And LIVE, it's out of body.
