Do we all agree that the Grinch is a victim of bullying. He was bullied so hard that he left town to live in the mountains with a dog because every kid expect for Martha May bullied him, including the teacher. Martha May, a real one she wanted that at a young age, caressing his face like that at school. 😂

I have that theory that when the Grinch is going through the Who phonebook and says "loathe entirely" that the phonebook is alphabetical by first name and it's the mayor "Augustus May Who." It's in the perfect spot if you assume the Who population is small.

I love the way Jim Carrey sang the iconic song "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" while adding his own comedic elements to it like the hilarious sound effects. And his freak out when the sleigh takes off. "We're going to die!! We're going to die!! I'm going to throw up, and then I'm going to die!! Mommy, tell it to stop!!"
Also, I really love how the actress who played Cindy Lou, Taylor Momsen went on to be the front woman and lead singer of a band called The Pretty Reckless. Also, I can sympathize with The Grinch, having been a victim of bullying growing up. I know the feeling of not liking people because of it.

Side note the part where he was supposed to pull all the dishes off with the tablecloth but wasn't able to cuz he pulled it too fast but then he went back and knocked it over is literally one of the best improvised scenes I've ever seen is a shining example of why Jim Carrey is the 🐐 and must be protected at all costs

2 reasons! 1: My dad resembled Jim Carrey a lot when I was younger, so I had a special attachment to him. 2: As a goblin child, I relished in the sheer unbridled chaos that this Grinch iteration brought, and every burning tree, unhinged screech, and psychotic laugh brought my tiny heart a concerning amount of joy.

So I recently watched a little compilation of Christine baranski’s scenes in this movie and as a kid I was confused at how hot she was in this movie because the only thing I ever saw her at that point was Addams family values. So to see her as this beautiful whoville babe from the camp counselor image I originally saw her as was like 😲!
