I think many people who boycotted Israel don't even want to open the video, also me I didn't see the performance live nor I have any interest to watch it now. And the UK dislikes are probably mostly from British people who are furious and disappointed by the performance
Eurovision is a family program so to see ''that'' left many to have a bad taste in their mouth same with spain and others.
There’s been a big thing with the right-wing media making a fuss about it, so it’s probably people who’ve never even seen Eurovision before disliking it because they’re petty and bigoted.

Because the Swiss only came 5th with the televote.
25 of the 37 countries gave their twelve points to Switzerland. That's highly suspect right there. I wanted Croatia to win, too, but I did not truly expected Switzerland to win it all. I'm still dumbfounded, but congrats to them.

Croatian jury giving the swiss no points and the public giving them one point whilst the swiss jury gave croatia 8 points and the public game them 12 then the swiss winning is karma.

He kinda does, his performance was just too gay, i’m not saying i’m homophobic, but for the people that just casually watch the show, it’s kinda disturbing for them to see a bunch of guys doing what almost looked like a doggystyle, and almost kissing ALL THE TIME, the performance was just that so i can understand the dislikes.
Some you can kinda “make sense” of. Like of course the winner would get a lot of disappointment dislikes, of course Israel would get a lot of dislikes because of the -you know what-, but some are so random. The UK wasn’t my favorite at all but at this point people must be on a mission to dislike it.

People are often shocked the most by the most 'open' performances, rarely for such great reasons (e.g. Nemo) but for UK it makes sense. It's not a matter of being homophobic, it was straight up offensive... to everyone including the gay community.

I don't get why Spain and Poland gave so many dislikes, I really liked those songs, did something happen in their home country that we don't know about? 🤨
My guess is that spains performance was too homo-erotic and poland had weak vocals and questionable stage!

Poles always hate their performance no matter who is representing them and how good or bad the song is. It's really sad u can't even say there that u like the song bc everyone will hate u and all other countries are always so supportive to their singers...
I just know that this thread is gonna be full of sad rants. Just enjoy the fact that a shedload of countries sent some fabulous talent to a contest, where we all enjoyed it and someone had to win, and some were not great on the day. Peace.

Polish performance is disliked by Poles because we are mad Luna went to ESC instead of Justyna (and cuz many are suspecting influence of her rich parents on national jury's decision to send Luna). These reactions have only grown bigger after the results which show that out entry failed to qualify.

Sylvester less disliked performance, that made my day!!! Swap 1 and 2 and I'm fine with it. In fact this year I like 36 out of 37 songs. This didn't feel like a competition but a music festival.

1:07 CYPRUS is such underrated gem! The chorus is not the most fun that you see in this short clip, but the whole song is absolutely 10/10 In my opinion. I have it on my spotify list already and playing it like crazy!

The Poles hate Luna. Old generation in Greece does not like Marina Satti's song because it desecrates Greek culture and is vulgar. Some Azerbaijani nationalists believe that this song is a disgrace for the country since Armenia is higher. The UK is not liked by people who take Eurovision as a "family show" and it was too vulgar, usually people who have children do not like it, same with Spain

I actually loved this song, and the official video, very much, but Luna's voice didn't seem strong enough to do it live. The acoustic piano version is absolutely beautiful.

People are annoyed they won, that’s why they’re getting so many dislikes. I also wouldn’t be surprised if a small portion also came from people who aren’t fond of Non-binary individuals too, but it’s mainly just people who were angry their favourite didn’t win.
This usually happens every Eurovision tbh, especially in recent years, when you put a bunch of countries against each other the competition becomes this incredibly personal war, where people will get offended if they hear any slight criticism about their country’s song or about one of their favourites.
I personally call it Post Eurovision aggression, similar to the Post Eurovision depression that people experience after this year’s competition ends, except instead of sadness it’s anger.
Major sporting events are the exact same, it’s just the unfortunate reality of society today.
You know, there were always bunch of crybabies after ESC is finished (Like, Real winner Eleni, Real winner KEiiNO, Real winner Chanel, Real winner Kaarija etc.)
It may also be with the fact that Nemo's performance was shown and discussed in a lot of mass media with strong -phobic comments. And since many people still believe what they say on TV, they rushed to dislike and even write their angry comments how "Europe is rotting inside". My mum's home country doesn't participate in Eurovision, however sometimes they spoke about it neutraly. Today they straight up furious about it. Even my Grandma is now sure that "it is a freak show" 😅
