Joost Klein dedicated this song to his father, who died when he was 12 years old due to cancer. His dad taught him that the world has no actual boundaries. His mother died a year later, when he was 13, due to cardiac arrest. Before his dad passed, Joost was already writing all kinds of stuff and promised one day he was going to go to Eurovision. He has gone through so many challenges in life, and it is a true inspiration to see how he deals with them.

I legit started crying with the outro. I went to the Netherlands to work in 2021 after Covid hit Spain and personally my economy and my mother's, so I decided to go to warehouses in NL to work, I learned some Dutch and as soon as I heard "Ik miss je elke dag" my eyes got wet asf
This is even a cropped version of the outro, the original (extended) outro (on Spotify) is even more emotional. These are the translated lyrics.

He was brought up by his brother. His father told Joost to write poetry, so that is what he does now. The song lyrics are very sad, knowing his backstory. Joost and his parents used to watch Eurovision, joost told his dad he would be on that stage one day. His dad told him "It's a world without borders". However, it also means: "It's a world without limits" since "grenzen" in dutch means both "limits" as well as "borders".
In contrast to the happy melody the lyrics show the cracks in his mask off being a happy guy.

Very good analysis. I would like to add another, concidering the mobility scooters, on a more geopolitical level. In the videoclip there are three parts where people are riding mobility scooters. If you pay close attention there could be a meaning behind the scoot mobile parts... My two cents:
1, 0:29 : Europe is alone at first, with the USA appearing behind and racing. A large part of Europe was rebuild after the 2nd WW with the help of the USA. Also in the 90's, after the fall of the USSR, Europe and the USA were doing very well together. Europe and the USA high-five eachother.
2, 1:16 : A third mobility scooter appears. At first they're all "winning" with fists up in the air but then the third person, who's wearing a "thief mask", is pointing at the EU in a seemingly scolding manner. This could be Russia or perhaps the Dutch population, concidering the colors he's wearing (red, white, blue), who are hating on the EU.
3, 2:12 : The third mobility scooter that appeared earlier (the angry one) is gone, right before the crazy party starts.
Just my two cents, maybe I'm reading into it too deep...
