It's been said that the reason why they haven't introduced a best stunt category is out of the worry that productions will try to one up and potentially putting stunt actors in more danger than necessary for the sake of the award.
There currently isn’t an Oscar for stunt work. That needs to change! These people are literally risking life and limb for films. That needs to be rewarded. Take the stunt doubles out of action films and see what you’re left with...
I think the point is that stunt doubles aren't supposed to be dare devils. They don't reward it because they don't want people to start doing overtly reckless,dangerous things to get awarded. I do agree they should get more recognition though

lol I know XD for some odd reason I always have this thing where i'm mentally breaking the 4 wall and I just like to pretend the cameraman died whenever I watch a horror movie and the demon or whatever gets closer to the camera.

This woman is for sure making 6-7 figures. Someone making 10k from stunts is probably playing zombie #3 in one obscure movie a year and waits on tables for the remainder of their income.
@That One I believe those signed under huge contracts with big name celebrities are making possibly a million a year or at least hitting a million in salary within a few years. They are risking their lives doing different high risk moves that 90 percent of the population could never accomplish.
Please please do more videos like this. Forgive me for being harsh, but the last thing we need is another self-proclaimed on Instagram "model"... queens of FaceTune and Sephora. THIS is what we, as women especially, need to see.
Some of these movies need to chill out, use CGI or whatever it’s called. Losing memory isn’t great and risking lives to the extent of a high risk of death or death itself is just sad.
I think the movies choreographers and director need to invest the time and money on safety more but movies tend to cut budgeting on it Because it's not their priority and that's just sad.
So what happens when someone dies on set ? They should get paid a lot because wow dying is just terrible hopefully they compensate the family or pay for funeral cost
Stunts should get wayyy more credit!!! As a background performer would love to see them get that, they work really hard too. I once got really hurt in a scene by an aggressive stunt women " first and only bad experience onset" and no one " beside other extras" really cared cause I am just an extra onset. That should change too, we should get more credit. Loved watching this!!!

However, I cannot help to feel in part that such qualities could be used for something much greater than entertainment, and that it is sad how she risks her life not to have a little bit of distortion from digitally eliminating a safety net from the scene or something. I wonder what kind of medical assistence is present on set... And it made me a little bit sad to hear that her memory isn't great; for me, memory is literally who you are.
