It was so lovely to meet you and Sam again. Thankyou for arranging a lovely party, it was so great to chat to everyone in a relaxed space surrounded by fabric! I found the Stitch Festival so busy and so hot, and as you said very overwhelming. I was lucky enough to get a VIP ticket as a present for my birthday, the air conditioned lounge was the saviour of the day. Definitely worth it. Congratulations on the amazing total!🎉
Amazing Jess, you smashed it with Sew Yellow for Endo 🤩
So amazing to see you on Saturday, Jess! Massive congratulations on Sew Yellow for Endo, you always do an incredible job and the challenge just gets better every year!
This is what we need to talk about❤ Thank you
Hi Jess,
It was nice to meet you. Greetings from Belgium😊.
What an absolutely amazing day for you,and the amount raised for endometriosis was fantastic. One year I’ll get to the UK for the stitch festival and sew yellow for endo. My daughter suffers from endometriosis and at 37 is finally getting some where with managing it. Keep up your great work Jess, and thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much 💛 💛
This is amazing, you should be so proud of yourself for raising so much money and awareness ❤️
Thank you so much 💛 💛
Salute Jess.
Greetings from south Africa

Im in tears …. You were so welcome to join us xxx
Fantastic result and well done - can’t wait for next year and will be better prepared with my yellow makes. Pleased you had a fabulous day xx
So great to meet you Jess and huge congrats on such a successful challenge and event!!! You must be wrecked 😂😂😂
It was such a joy to meet you! Thank you so much for getting involved 💛 and yes...yes I am 😂
We went on Friday. We enjoyed it but I agree with your comments about the venue. There was no seating free near the catering outlets, the corridors were very cramped and we spent a lot of time pushing through crowds and missed some of the stalls. They need tea / coffee stalls in more places. It was also very hot. We were exhausted and left after a couple of hours and went for tapas. Next time need a packed lunch and a flask of tea (I may be turning into my Mum). I bought some lovely fabric though!.
Jess it was a fabulous party and congratulations💛 Will def be there next year 👍 Meeting all the wonderful people was just the icing on the cake after a fab festival day
Thank you so much for coming along and supporting!! 💛
Definitely the trousers! I've just ordered some red (ish) fabric for the thea trousers - if I tell you all my trousers are black or denim you'll understand how much this is me branching out! I love your bright colours
Thank you! I'm tbc because I've just realised that I might get more use out of shorts for the next 6 months so they might also be an option!
I think at the Stitch Festival, it would be better if it was at a different venue. The Business Design Centre is very odd. My mum and I went on the Friday and we ended up sitting on the floor in a corner to eat our sandwiches because there wasn't anywhere to sit that wasn't already occupied. I also think the more popular stalls like Tilly and the Buttons and Sew Over It are squished in so tightly there's no room to browse their patterns without everyone bumping into each other. I think next year I will give it a miss and try the NEC shows instead. I only took up sewing during lockdown so the shows are new to me. I have now done Stitch Festival and Knitting and Stitching Show twice. Maybe next year will be good to give them a miss and go to other shows instead. I did enjoy going, I went on Friday, but like you say, the catering, seats and general crampedness of the event was quite overwhelming.
You have done an amazing job in getting such an awful disease out in the open, and in getting women talking about it. I will say this, as a sufferer of endometriosis for many years, which led to being put into a medical menopause, and then a total hysterectomy at the age of 27; that one may have a number of years of pain relief, if not for ever, if lucky. However, prepare for the adhesions caused by the endometriosis and surgeries, to come back and bite one in the buttock in one's middle life. My bowel is now stuck to bits of my body: this caused a partial twisted gut and blockage in 2021 all due to adhesions. I say this to all those women in their 50's that have had endometriosis, to get a thorough check up if problems start.
Congratulations on the fundraising and creating awareness.
Thank you so much 😀
Still sad I didn’t met you in person but it was super busy. I wonder why they put the Prosecco Bar next to a stage!! Seems very silly if someone ie is talking - Tilly and there’s a whole group woman meeting up!!! I agree on the lack of food & drink and the bottle neck. Didn’t do any workshops as was overwhelming with all the businesses I tried to seek out (didn’t even get round them all)! Ooooh my! Saturday was a sell out ticket wise out of all the days for the stitch festival. I had a brilliant day but it took about 3 days to recover 😂 ❤
Red linen = Should be trousers!!!
I know! So gutted we didn't meet but we will manage it one day!
xXXX👍👍👍
You look so beautiful
Thank you! 😊
