In reality, a landmine detonates the moment you step on it. You won't hear the (click) over the sound of the explosion and your intestines flying through your chest and skull. Okay, there were German mines in WWII that had a delay. After you trigger it, there is a delay for you to step off of it, then an explosive charge pops up out of the mine. At about waist level, it then explodes, sending a ring of shrapnel in all directions. Very effective in taking out a squad of soldiers by targeting their squishy midsections.
I guess it works in this movie because it wasn't a mine and the foolish victims believe the myth about mines having a delay.
Not true @Ciborium. Some land mines are pressure mines. Meaning you hear a click and if you lift your foot, THEN it explodes. The pushing down and click is what arms it. That’s one reason it took some infantry units in Vietnam all day to cross a field. They moved slowly and deliberately.
Social Inform Media is right. Some mines work in reverse, requiring you to step off before the thing explodes. This isn't the first nor the last movie about this kind of situation.
pressure plate mines work by exploding when a certain amount pressure is passed and then released. that way they don’t accidentally blow themselves up planting it.
Not true, pressure plate mines have been and are still used.
While you are right, pressure plate mines cover a wider area vs a small switch.

Just to be honest, every single person in this movie was in the wrong. They were in the wrong for cheating, The boyfriend was in the wrong for hiring that crazy panty sniffing guy. The panty sniffing guy was wrong for making all them do all that. He should have just went after the boyfriend that sat all that up, but it didn't brings you back to. They shouldn't have cheated. The moral of the story is, if all of them died at the end, I wouldn't have cared.
Putting cheaters on the same level as predatory rapists is interesting.

How does it feel odd he wants revenge? When the person behind something that hurt you and had ppl who was hired helped and they had fun like that dude they deserve to feel the revenge too. They get no free pass just cuz they was hired they could’ve said no. The dude was in on the prank and made the girl do tricks and shit he had fun with it and didn’t even care to help her after she was shot because of him. Her ex boyfriend deserves to feel pain too since he was behind the landmine prank but that dude joined in willingly and had fun. He deserved what he got.

@@ordenax after watching the movie I see what you mean. I agree I don’t know why he didn’t go after the boyfriend. It was a disappointing horror film in my opinion. They set him up to have lost his humanity and been waiting to get the payback on the ppl involved in the girls death but instead he kills someone’s daughter accidentally and just gives up. I do like that he was recreating everything the guy did except the rape part but I hate he just doesn’t kill them all and move on to the boyfriend. It was short, disappointing and worthless time making. With a actor ik as the main character as well.

I think the moral of the story was the tragedy of a vicious cycle of violence, particularly its affect on the innocent people who were the collateral damage. A normal likeable person became a monster due to the brutal murder of a loved one and in trying to get revenge he became just as bad if not worse than the original villain. Based on his facial expression at the end of the movie, I think he realized that.

Suppressors for revolvers are a thing, it's just a bit more complicated.
A normal screw-on suppressor wouldn't work on an average revolver as there's a gap between the cylinder and the barrel for gas to escape from when fired, similar to how a suppressor wouldn't work on a gun with a fluted barrel.
The suppressor would either have to be integral, encompassing the entire cylinder like how the German Police Force's suppressed S&W 625 does, or have a mechanism that closes the gap between the cylinder and barrel like the OTs-38 Stechkin or M1895 Nagant revolver.
