Richard you and Christina do really great work on these old cars and trucks please keep up the great work
Thanks Doug❤
@@christinarust6957 your very welcome please have a great day now
One of my new favorite youtube couples and channels 🙏
Thank you❤ Appreciate you watching
love watching you two work together
❤❤
I never thought it was JUNK. My wife on the other hand would think I’d lost my mind if I ever thought about purchasing a vehicle that looked like that. This vintage beauty needs to be brought back to its former glory. I know Richard said he wasn’t a fan of the continental kit but that just adds to its mystique. Love the new shop, next investment is a lift.👍👍🇨🇦
You know what's funny? No matter the condition of a car, I've never thought Richard was crazy😅 If anything I push him to buy crazy vehicles! Really appreciate you watching❤
I’m excited to see more videos on this project. I’m glad you were able to purchase the car.
Thanks Brandon. Appreciate you watching 😊
good for you Two
Great vid and shop tour , hope you get a post lift install to save your back , thanks for sharing 👍💨💨
So do I! I want a lift more than Richard does 😅 Appreciate you watching ❤
Please give it a good budget restoration and please keep the continental kit, thats what sets that car apart from other 51s and is classy looking.
It’s good to know that you are doing great. I know the feeling as far as health. I don’t know about you but I thank the Lord everyday for letting me live and see another beautiful day.overall you guys are blessed keep up the great work.
I'm with you on that one also, I thank God for every day of life myself.
Your right those Chevy straight 6’s are great engines. A friend lost his shop to a fire over the summer. He had a 1935 Dodge he was working on. And even though it went through a fire he is going to continue with the project. Name of his Channel is Half Ass Customs. If you want to check him out. Richard you and Christina are one of my favorite people. If you decide to rebuild. It can be done for sure. You guys are the best. The 1951- 1954 Chevy straight 6’s were great. I think you can do a little body work and create an interior. And a new wiring harness and Radiator. You got a Car. Never would attempt to restore. Your haunted 1949 has bad Mojo. This car wants to live again. Love the new shop. Anything makes your wrenching easier. I’m excited as well. Thank you Richard and Christina ❤️💯👍
Happy for you guys to get that awesome work shop.
Thanks Dave❤
That small U Bolt you pitched in the trunk……is the steering column hold up bolt that goes under the dash…. Right between the Gauges!!
Happy for y’all about the new shop!! Nice and spacious!!!

Your buddy with the speed shop if he's still selling parts you would probably everything you need to build that car .All you need is a lift in there you'd have it made richard
Love you guys ! Love all your vids - the longer the better, and your new shop is great ! Regards from Western Australia.
I love the workshop. Glad you now have a space to focus on projects.
Absolutely clear coat the car as it looks but I would love to see the engine bay all cleaned up painted and shiny.
I like the idea of cleaning up the engine bay. It would help show off the souped up 235 too. Clear coating the car I what I want to do, but I need to bring Christina around to the idea.
Richard and Christina, you make me smile!
Congratulations on the new shop you deserve it keep up the great videos will continue to watch thank you
Thanks for the support, Jerry. More videos are in progress.
Awesome new shop, you guys. I'm happy you got something for you. This is going to be a great adventure and improved quality of your working experience and of coarse videos.❤😊 Good luck😊
Congrats on your continuing recovery, nice shop, do just enough to make it a driver, go, stop, turn, interior, glass, vgg shine juice, keep the straight 6.
Great job u 2 always keeping clean and interesting
Richard, this shop are very incredible. This Blue car, I think it's possible to put run with same pices and paint the car. Nothing very dificult, only a new life.
That old Chevy is so solid if it had a donor roof it could come back strong....the new shop is a game changer ...glad to see it I'm sure you both will enjoy working in it ...Karl from eastern Canada
Thanks Karl!
Good luck Richard & Christina with your new shop and with car #51😊 . Look forward to your next video.
Yeah, I would put it together a little bitthe way you could drive it around the yard. Then you go from there of what you want to do with it nexthave a great day. I enjoy what you do❤❤❤❤❤❤
Exactly! We are thinking the same.
Sounds awesome
Brilliant good job , always interesting, thanks for sharing up and onwards !
Been subbed since the beginning, watching the growth of the channel is awesome!! Awesome content.. and awesome community and followers!!
Much love from down under Australia!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much for the support. We love hearing from the long-time subscribers.
I wasn't watching car channels in some time, but when the burnt Chevy came up on my feed I had to watch! I was one of hundreds who encouraged a resurrection! When Richard got it running initially, it was clear the old girl wanted to hit the road again!
Some progress is being made too! It is coming up in a future video. Thanks for the support.
I'll be watching for that future video!
Congratulations on your new to you home and shop.
congrats. on your new shop. I love the 49 to 54 chevys that you do. Glad you are doing well Richard.
Thank you, Michael. We have another 52 coming in a couple of months. I seem to be a magnet for them.
You have a decent shop Richard, thank you for sharing.
Great video, I’m very happy for you both and good luck with the new shop.👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
good stuff as always thanks 4 the share love the new digs ✔✔💯💯 till the next stay well stay safe ✌✌
This is exciting, I really look forward to seeing what you do to the 2 door. I'm not keen on Continental kits either! Great new workshop you have, thanks for the comprehensive tour.
Thanks Andre!
Ordered the Cre-Oil. Used the discount code RUST50. Looking forward to using it. It was encouraging to see you use it on those hood hinges!
I am sure you will like it. I would never endorse it if I didn't think it was the best.
Well done to you both, Love the new shop, it's great. It will be an asset in the Winter months 😊
Thanks Andy.
Love the old chevy will be glad when you get it going regularly like road worthy love the color eventho it's been burnt its a tough chevy can't wait for you to get it going again keep bringing these old cars back to life and the old trucks to and keep up the good work like your videos
Very glad you got a new shop that always makes it very usable with projects
Thank you, James. We are very excited about the possibilities having this shop opens up for us.
Great video lovely to see the old girl got a good home. I think u need to give it some of that vice grip shine juice. Would look great.
The bracket In the boot u found looks like it's to hold the steering column to the dash
Thanks for that info. We will be needing that part for sure!
Glad to see you got the car back. You don't have to worry about A/C for that one Richard, there's no glass! It's got what we call the 250 system. Two windows down 50 mph. And congrats on the new place!
Now you have plenty of time to think about what you want to do with it now that its home.
I say bolt it back together, get it drivable, and do a satin clear right over that fire damaged
rust. It'll look authentic and it will tell a story.
Awesome video I love the new shop
I would love to see it restored and decked out with the Continental Kit ( even skirts )… congrats on the new digs❤
Congrats on the new shop! Suggest making the '51 Chevy drivable for occasional local car shows.
Great video, so happy for you two that you finally have a place to be able to continue to do what you're doing. I love the new digs and it's just what you've been needing. I don't think I could ever have continued my love for bringing back old vehicles without building my pole barn and having some room to work and store my vehicles inside. With such a nice running motor in that car, go ahead and restore it to some degree and make it a driver. I could also live without the continental kit, I'm not a fan and on a fully restored car that would look great, so go ahead and sell it off.
Right on Ric. The kit has to go to fund other things anyway.
Man that car sounds awesome. She’s going to need a lot of work but it will definitely be worth it. Thank you guys and congrats on your new place! 🙂
Thanks Glen!
All you need now is a lift. Congratulations on you new shop .A lot more upgrades is in the making but you will get it done.
We are hopeful a lift will find its way to us!
Awesome looking shop! It is good to see you got the space you needed.
Right on!
This is an ambitious project. So glad you're both doing well.
Thanks, Daniel. We are doing great!
Cool to see that old burnt out beauty back! Congrat's on the new place too.
enjoyed the video on the burned chevy.hope you get it going and looking like you hope it will. so sorry to hear about Richards health issues although I don't know what it was but saw in one of your other videos that he had heart surgery. he looks good now. enjoy your new shop and new home. 25 yr old shop still looks brand new. enjoy 😀
Thanks Jon. Your support is appreciated.
Fantastic new shop - I can imagine a lift in there sometime. Well done with the chevy start.
Another great video! Loved the tour of your new shop, glad to see you're enjoying new home🙂
Thank you for the support!
Love that old girl. Clear coat to preserve her story, get seats doors, dash and windscreen in it and drive her.
She sounds great!
That is exactly what I am thinking. Thanks for the feedback.
I thought you were nuts 😢 but yet 😮 wonderful challenge. To have the little lady supporting you. You are a lucky man 😅.
Congratulations on getting a shop. Plenty of space out of the weather and you could even have a spray booth. Suggestion - put in a decent heating system for a specific insulated area first. AC too for the summer. You'll thank yourself!
Another plus: the neighbors at your house will like you better 😉
Super excited for you, with your new shop.
you scored a big shop. awesome.
