Would you go to any of these parties?
Ja, Gemüse party. Sie haben "Kreüter".
Not sure I'd get in if spinach was on the door. But if that's not a problem then yeah sure, I'd go to them all in various disguises.
As long as broccholi and parsnip provide some herbs 😉 Oh, hey, I'm not alone! 😂
Vaccine party please! Seeing you guys next week and I want all the covid and flu prevention medication before that!
Will I be provided with a women's jumper?
Loved every single one, especially poor Tomato at the fruit and vegetable parties. Pls tell him I'll have a garden party this year and he'll be the star guest.
We had a good room when I was a kid--brings back memories. Mom said it was a parlor but we never called it that.
eh. You just know that tomato will be upstaged by zucchini/courgette.
@@fredericapanon207but of course. Z/C is part italian, part french!! Now if tomato had brought his cousins Roma and San Marzano...
We need a "Solar System Throws a Party", where Pluto can't get into the party, Uranus is teased about his name, Venus is feeling very bipolar, and the Sun and Earth argue about who is the center of the Solar System!😁
Thank you for making Thursday my favorite day of the week!
YES!!!!!
Pluto at the solar system party would be the equivalent of Tomato at the vegetable party!
You lads blow other current comedy out of the water. The sketches are brilliant. A party with days of the week is just inspired. This is real humour. You never disappoint.
As a kid I watched SNL with my parents but these days it seems boring. At least I have FAH 😆
"Little party never killed nobody", except Sunday))
Party sketches is my absolutely favourite type of your sketches, lads! Thank you so much for this great gift! 💙💙💙
To be honest, these sketches are the first thing that come to mind when I think of you guys, so unique and hilarious!
By the way, the good room isn't just an Irish thing. Based on the houses we used to visit with our parents whose owners lived in the UK in the 60s and 70s, definitely a UK thing as well 🤣
My American cousins have one. I think it's only an American thing for people who are really pretentious and who like to show off their wealth more than sit on a comfy sofa, which describes those cousins perfectly. 😆
There is SO much meme-potential in these sketches. I got onto the FAH-train because of them, absolutely no regrets!!
I loved the medicines party. Arms as hippie Echinacea and Hog as The Pill cracked me up. Foil's aggression as Steroids was really funny.😂 Still watching...
Furniture at the end! 😂 Arms' Rug line, "I just keep repeating the same patterns over and over" killed me!🤣
I still feel strongly that placebo should have answered "I only pretend to work". Such a waisted opportunity
'At least i can hold my liquor !'- The Cocktail cabinet 🤪 😂
Love the party sketches! Such a great original idea, really well executed. Shows off all your skills - great writing, word play, acting, characterisation. The days of the week characters and the rooms too are so accurate! I wish I wasn't such a Sunday, but at least I'm not a Thursday (bloody weirdo - even though I like him the most 😂). Hope there are heaps more party sketches to come! 🥳🍻
The good room existed in Sweden as well. Never heated, never used. Even in small flats the family slept in one room and the kitchen but never used the good room. I guess it was for visits by acquaintances that was not very close or were from higher position. The tradition with a good room ended in the 60s I think.
The lettuce scene gets me every time! 😂😂
As a big fan of clever jokes and puns, these will always be my favourite
Thursday fanboying over Friday will never leave me again... Foil's face 😍🤩😲
The good room concept also exists in Iran. We call them Paziraii which comes from the word Paziresh which means reception. The only room you use to receive guests. Even now that we don't have the extra room in the new apartments, still people arrange their chairs in a way that there is a separate section for the guests and you usually don't use that part unless there are guests.
And we had it in Germany/Bavaria, too, not long ago. But the Concept is disappearing.
The medicine party - best moment "I'm not sitting in the back with saline, he's such a drip", the line's good but the delivery was perfect!
This has to be the most chaotic collection of sketches ever 😂 love it! 😃
The very first sketch that ended up in my Facebook feed was Party with the Months of the Year. I remember being really impressed with the way they portrayed the different months so I watched more and the rest, as they say, is glorious FAH history. Is it weird to say I love you guys so much 🥰🥰
When I first saw the Vegetable skit, I thought they should make a fruit one, and not let tomato into it either. Loved that cucumber was just hanging out at both, and nobody questioned it. Or that avocado is a fruit, it gets confused for a Vegetable way more often than the tomato.
The months one confused me for a moment. Mother's day in March? Then I remembered different countries celebrate it on different dates.
When it cokes to the good room, that reminds me of what my families dining room became. We used to always eat in there in the evenings but eventually most meals were in the lounge and we only ate at the dining table at Christmas or when guests were round and events like birthdays. It also had a cabinet with the nice plates and glasses and drinks. The only reason we went in there most of the uear was to get to the stairs.
Also one year i used it to store all my VHS tapes, i had like seven boxes of them amd would go in there and look for a film every few evenings.
Party sketches were the first what I watched when started following you. First party sketch that I saw was Medicines throw a party and I thought how smart your jokes are and after few party sketches later, I became a true fahn. 😊
thumbs up for "FAHn"!
The decades is hilarious! The 1910s and 1940s "talking" on the couch.😂 Well done, the whole thing. Vaccines was great, too! Janssen Johnson and Johnson.🤣
All were great fun, Vegetables, Energy, and Refrigerator items! Thanks, guys!🙌😆
Boiler being off the clock, what a gem.
Brilliant sketches. Now I want to see the truly alcoholic party that would occur when Guinness, Vodka, Red Wine and the rest of the lads and lassies get together for the biggest bash of all!
OMG these are so ingenious. I just love how you three are able to extract every possible funny joke out of the subjects of your videos. Bravo, gentlemen. Cheers from Ottawa, Canada🍁
The party sketches were the first of your videos I watched and I was stunned. Now here I am, having watched every single of your vids and going to see u live next month.
You’re simply special.

"Wednesday and Tuesday"
in Italy this makes even more sense, because they also have similar names (martedì - mercoledì) and on the calendar they are both signed as *M.*
There used to be a good room also in houses in Greece, in the 60s.
It was called the good living room and it being was opened rarely, only for special guests or special occasions.
😂these are ALL so good - I watch them over and over and laugh out loud every time! The onslaught of puns are so beautifully placed and move so quickly I have to rewatch to catch them all! You are amazing, guys!….er LADS! Brilliant! (as they say over your way!) What a gift to humanity you are…laughter is great medicine in our often-scary world today….thank you! ❤
I have a boring life (or boring character) and never go to parties, but I would love to go to ANY of these ones.
When the light in the fridge turned off, an ad started playing. Nice timing
Poor tomato!!! Energies is my fav sketch but the cocktail cabinet costume is the best!!!
the party sketches are amazing in so many ways: the writing is superb, the jokes are incredibly funny, the acting is out of this world and the sets are fantastic! But the costumes are absolutely the best part! It's amazing how you can embody these characters in such an impressionistic way! Onion's layers are a stroke of genius! I hope you will make more and more of these! Thank you for this compilation! 😍😍😍 PS: I would go to all of these parties!
I live in Canada and I remember my aunt having the good room that I was not allowed to go in or touch. When I was allowed in the room, I was nervous to not break or do anything I was not allowed to do.
Big thank you for pushing hard for the onion family. Huge fan of them here. 🔥🔥 I always pause and replay to focus on each of yours faces, 6 times every time 🤩
I love the party format. The veggies in the fridge is my favourite
The onion family will never fail to crack me up
Same room different storey, gets me every time.
Hog as The Pill was the best 😂
I discovered you guys during lockdown times when my facebook timeline suggested "Vaccines Throw A Party" and I've been enjoying all your videos ever since 😄👍👍
Oh this is heaven!! Your party sketches are my absolute faves!!
I still love to quote "WHY DONCHU GET OUTTA HERE, ECHA*NERD*SHA?!!!"
I'd almost forgotten the brilliance of the companies party 😂
The "Good Room" also known as "The cold splendor" because it was to expensive to heat a room that ist only used on very special occations.
I've been following you guys since the Countries Play Risk skit. This was so nostalgic. Hope to see you guys love one day, until then I hope you do more of these compilations/commentaries
I live in Canada, and I think one or two of my friends had a "good room." I'm definitely familiar with the concept: it's pretty-much just how my grandparents' living rooms and dining rooms were set up: furniture that needs protecting, and fancy dishes/ glassware/ cutlery in cabinets.
I’ve always thought that March telling January that he’ll never go to the Gym is so simply observed, yet so clever. Makes me laugh out loud every time. 😂
Dutch houses used to have good rooms too, but I think it stopped being a thing somewhere around the 60's. Two houses I used to live in still had traces of it.
These are my absolute favorite.
if you are confused by aldi and lidl just wait till you hear about the fact that there are actually two aldis, north and south, they just expanded into different countries, but you can find both in germany and they just started to work closer together again - before they had vastly different brands and items 😅
(there were two brothers and therefore two stores)
The amount of different turtlenecks is impressive!
Still watching the video
I hope the "rooms of the house" are in this one! I love that one.
Some of the best ones! Shows so much of your creativity!! 🎉
Same room, different 'story'
😂
In the Netherlands we used to have the good room. It was the room that was only used when the local vicar came to visit😅
I'm just so happy I'm a part of the FAH onion 😂😂😂
The food in your fridge one always kills me, Spread nearly made me choke from laughing so hard 😂😂
as someone who works 24/7 shifts, every day when i work is monday, and every day im off is sunday, also january dont do it you'll never go i feel that on a spiritual level
Love the parties! Especially on Mondays! Thanks a lot😁
i talked to my dad about the rooms-sketch and apparently there were "good rooms" in germany to at some point - and i noticed that terraced houses in germany have often the same layout as those in Ireland (and in England)? especially if they are older, even down to the small downstairs bathroom😅
The playroom that wants to stay up all night 😂😂
You always leave me wanting more!!! Even after a compilation!! Your humo(u)r is GREAT!!!
Growing up, the "good room" was called the parlour. If the furniture wasn't covered in plastic, the carpet had an overlay of translucent vinyl. Despite all that class, everyone gathered in the basement. Do they have finished basements in Ireland?
Love the party sketches! They’re my favorites… and the answering questions at various country’s customs sketches.
I love the ‘party’ sketches. So cleverly written and very well acted. Great stuff. 😊😅
WIthout a doubt your most shareable series and a personal favourite, never fails to make me giggle!
Loved this
Love all of them!! Your best series ❤
So charming and entertaining, both in and out of sketches. 😊
I love these. I LOVE these! The party sketches are second only to Anne and Oisin. Appreciate the commentary between each one, guys!
I love, love, love the Party sketches - so much fun, and some clever jokes!
Love all your party ones. So clever!
These have always been my favourites.
The outsiders line gets me
These are definitely my favourite sketches of yours!
the accents are always absolutely on point! I loved hearing cabage's English country accent at 20:21
I think in the Netherlands people used to have a "good room" as well, I've heard my parents talk about it, but we don't really have the custom anymore as far as i know
In the US, the good room was called the "living room" and the living room was called the "family room". The living room was never used, and was ultimately eliminated as it was unnecessary.
Love the parties. Lots more, please.
Thanks for thst great compilation. They are all great but i do have a favourite. The Foods in your Fridge. Absolutely brilliant , particularly with the remote control and the red wine.
Thanks a million.
I live in the US but my grandma has had a 'good room' in every house she's had, I wasn't allowed in that room til i was 15 haha
In Greece we have a Good Room too! 😊
Hotel nightstand so accurate!
I remember them
I think the best bit is the fridge with the remote and the lettuce.
😂
Great stuff!
First time I saw the food in the fridge- epic!
Hysterical! More More!!!
The second to last skit in the fridge. I was in tears from laughter 👍
So many favourite moments and favourite characters in here, but I think I'll highlight Spread in the Fridge. A gag you so easily could have missed but I'm so glad you didn't, because he's just fantastic.
When I was a kid (in Portugal) people used to also keep a sort of good room, sometimes the living room when you could do the "living" in the rest of the house like eating in the kitchen. Nowadays that doesn't happen so much.
I love the party sketches, they're so funny 😂 and creative.
I loved the puns at the Energy party.
YESSSS!!! They are my absolute favourites and now I got them all in one video!!😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩
So good!
I love the party sketches - the puns are top notch, really smart comedy. Thanks for the compilation, lads!
Will now treat myself to a nice G&T without cucumber and watch it again :)
I have used the food items power cut panick reaction to express a vast array of emotions, and I do not plan to stop anytime 😂
These are so good! So many great characters, costumes, and lines. It's too hard to pick favorites. I missed food labels though maybe they weren't at a party...
I missed School Subjects Throw a Party, one of my favourites
Our grandparents had "fancy rooms" they were often called the "formal dining room" in southern US culture.
Now I wanna see the their costumes closet
