@matt3403 Currently, I am working on my own system that will work over ham radio, especially since the FCC in the US have changed the limitations on amateur radio digital modes. In Canada we do not have these limitations, but it would have been impractical for me to implement a system where a great deal of Americans couldn't use. Hopefully making that video soon! Thank you for your comments :)
@@CanuckHam I looked on their website and noted still shows weather sat function. Does it still do radio? I ask just in case there maybe a bit you missed? I don't know but am interested in getting and this is why I am adking/checking. TIA
@matt3403 Honestly, I do believe they are still supporting the older recivers running the skylark software. I do see some opak files that I have no way to decode. I would imagine those may be the weather. As for the radio, I am not sure if that is still going on. I do decode the occasional mp3 Voice of the America audio report. I wish I still had my old receiver to double check.
Is the weather function no longer available?
I do not believe it is, at least with the newest firmware for the esp32 board.
Looks worse than the prior system. Also I think you can maybe TX on this version if a ham via chat.
