Yessirrr my 1st tech job was breakfix, desktop and some servers was great little experience. Chase, alliance berstein and Goldman Sachs those companies on my resume helped out alot in my early career. The pay was low but getting my foot in the door was the main goal! great interview btw!

Tbh I think portfolios need to be more prevalent than certs. At least it shows that you are doing something as practice within your chosen career or role.

I am switching from a career in Biomedical Science to programming /cyber security SOC. Currently saving to do a course/certs and currently undertaking a course in Python. Some of the jobs in the U.K are requiring some programming and I was already studying this in my own time before deciding the route I want to go down is cybersecurity rather than purely programming. Thanks for the amazing advice this video answered a lot of burning questions I had . Many Thanks to you both ☺️

I know obviously a newbies CV will be very different from yours because you got years of experience over a newbie like me but I just wanna see some tips of skills to include and maybe some project advice. Projects that are related to the job role that will help prepare you practically for the tasks within the job role . Thanks so much -lorenna ☺️

Ec2 Windows = Compute 😁 I learned that in my AwS re/start training I'm currently in now. We are currently in Networking in the cloud. I did 2 labs today, the one I enjoyed was IP addresses and Subnetting. We had to familiarize ourselves with the AWS console, and we went through the process of creating an EC2 instance from scratch, and giving it Internet access, Route tables, Subnetting the IP address, I really enjoyed that lab today. I have no IT background, but I do have digital marketing and graphic design skills, which helps to be familiar with different software's and how they work.

Nice! Keep working at it. I had a client go from construction to cloud engineer so you can do this.
