My Account Permanently Suspended for No reason i submit appeal but after 2 minutes i received Email I'm no qualify to reinstation, the question is that only 2 minutes etsy review my full account and read my Appeal...!!🙂
Exact same happened to me. I had my account for only 2 weeks with just 3 listings. All trademark checked etc...Double checked all my bank details, address and everything. No chance of reinstating. Was told in the email, no point of further contact, cos they will just ignore. I'm seriously thinking that they are clamping down on POD and probably not taking on any new...It's gotta be that, I have done nothing else wrong.

Same thing happened to me. I know 1000% I was in zero violation of any terms or policies. I opened 10 months ago. Had regular sales. Had best seller stars, same for responses. Had a 4.8 rating. Initially I worked my ass off to create 300 products/listings. I tried everything- POD, digital portraits (I'm an artist), digital products, but eventually my, "F*ck 'Em. Seriously. Affirmations for Life's Bullsh*t" printed cards took off with regular sales. Over Christmas they withheld all my sales which was horribly timed but I rode it out. Then on Friday, I received an email that I was permanently banned with the embedded link to appeal. I appealed immediately and within minutes I received an obviously canned response stating their "careful review" of my shopped it is permanently banned and there will be no further response. I'm not new to business. I'm university educated. I've won business awards in my own community. So I'm far from green. This has to be a violation of rights, somehow. I'd love for a law firm to get a class action going. I'm trying to get back on my feet after an illness + losing my business during covid. I've seen other stores reporting they were permanently shut down after 23 years...decades. Just. Wow. I can't imagine the impact this is having on so many families.
Can you help me? I have no reason for my suspension. I appeal and they just close my appeal without answer but I can always reappeal . I’ve appealed 3 times they just close my request and don’t answer

My main Estsy has been Permanently shut down however I have an old account I created years ago with a different email address do you think I can use that to open a store ?? Will they automatically recognize me and shut that one down as well??

Sorry about this. Same was my issue some time ago. After many appeals didn't go true. I got mine fixed by an expert. I still remember I got XSOLVE.1 to handle my issue on

Hi, when your second shop got suspended, before they give your shop back, could you still running your first shop? Or is there any influence on your first shop? i am going to open a second shop on etsy and just worried about if my second one got suspended and my first one will also got suspended afterwards. Hi, there was no effect on my main first shop at all. The second shop was only suspended as it got caught up in the Etsy security/verification web, so I didn't actually do anything wrong. They un-suspended the shop swiftly after I raised the issue.
Hello! Thanks for the video. I was wondering when you said not to use a VPN, if an old account was permanently suspended I know I can't use the IP address and everything so what should I do when opening a new account if a VPN isn't a good idea
Hi Adam, yeah VPN is a bad idea. Why was your old account suspended? I'd start by raising an appeal always as you kind of have nothing to lose. If it were me I'd try opening a new account and list a legitimate item for sale that is fully allowed on etsy. Then if it's suspended straight away I'd file an appeal like the one I showed in this video, make it clear what you intend to sell and that you don't intend to violate any policies. There are situations where families have a single laptop between everyone meaning people on the same IP have different stores, there are plenty of reasons you can give as to why you shouldn't be banned. Appeals are reviewed by humans, so you just have to convince them. Best of luck!
Thanks for the quick response. My account was banned for violating Etsy policies because I was drop shipping similar items to other people. Can you explain why VPN is bad and what can I do if all my information is flagged and if I try to open an account it is directly banned? Thank you@@AlfieNemeth
I opened an Etsy account today and they asked me to verify my bank with £199 and I was suspicious and it said is suspended and I haven’t done anything
Wow that seems way above what they normally ask for when it comes to account verification. I would contact support every day until I receive that back, it's far too much to lose.
My account has been temporarily suspended. I have filed an appeal 14 days ago and still haven't heard back from them. I used the email you provided but I got a reply that this is not a monitored email and I need to contact through the site.
Hey Helen thanks for watching my vid! Oh that’s so weird, it’s the standard contact email for Etsy and I have had responses back from my myself with that email (although they do take up to a few weeks to reply sometimes). My first recommendation is to always go through the site and raise the case, this is what I did and shown in the vid. Seemed to work well. You may be better off trying to ring them during the contact hours, but the ‘call’ support option only shows up during certain hours in the help sections, I’m not 100% what these hours are. Maybe even try the support chat that is a bot, but should still be able to put your queries forward. Hope that helps and feel free to message me on IG/email if you want to chat further.

Their employees overseas are closing accounts randomly and refuse to do their job and review accounts. Massive settlement in the horizon.
Do you open new accounts after getting banned with your same id / different bank acc.?
I know people who have but they’ve needed to use differed details. If your actual account is suspended, this involves any details attached to you. Personally my experience getting shop suspended was what I shown in the video, and I got it back pretty much straight away. If you’re banned for policy violations it’s a different story.

Just got banned yesterday and i see that i was off to couple of these tips.
What if i m moving countries every now and then? What's happening then with my location and ip address?? Also, what if i start a new store on different ip address and move to the old one? Does it have to match with my physical address?

Thanks so much really appreciate you watching! The store address (location items are fulfilled from) shouldn't change and this can be different to your physical location. The important info to get right is anything to do with your banking address, this is the main one people get wrong. In addition if your fulfilling orders from India for example, don't try and set shop location to USA for a local audience, this will get flagged up.

I opened the store while i was visiting uk (so uk ip i guess) and the bank account i registered on the store is based in europe(revolut) with greek address which is also added to my store's legal info. Seems pretty messed up now that i m looking into it..hah..moving soon to australia tho for good. How about that.haha

Hiya! Sadly if your appeal has bene rejected it is basically impossible to get your account/listing back. Etsy are notorious for this and although I love the platform, it is a major flaw when accounts are suspended incorrectly. Your best bet would be to call support during the opening hours, if your appeal is suspended you won't be able to raise a new one. How established was your shop? I'd be happy to work with you to open a new business sustainably that won't run the risk of being suspended.

Hiya! Yeah you can open a shop in Morocco I just checked on Etsy policies. DONT USE A VPN WHEN SIGNING UP. This will 100% lead to a ban at some point. You can sell from wherever your supplier or you are based. If you’re selling POD, digital items or even dropshipping, just make sure the origin address is correct on the shipping profile you are using for each respective product. Good luck!

It's getting worse by the day. Since this video, I have seen so many sellers going through the same. There are other platforms and I'm about to say, "Shove it!" and move on. It's plain ridiculous when you follow all the rules, and still see people on there with major policy violations....and nobody wants to talk and give you peace of mind.
Yeah it is bad I get so many messages privately from sellers, but it's so hard to help when Etsy just don't listen and everything is AI bots or automated responses. I want to do another video soon to try and at the least calm people who have had shops lost. I think there are certain shops that can be opened that won't be shut down no matter how hard people try, but I understand it is very hard.

Exactly! There are shops selling song lyrics on apparel making millions and nobody bothers them because they are big shops. We follow all rules religiously and some random person suspends us. I think Etsy is trying to keep their store actually limited to those big ones. I had more than 800

You should have an email from Etsy confirming reason for suspension. If you did not receive this, I would contact them directly and raise a case, they have a duty to let you know.

My account had a 20 day hold on funds which lasted for about 2 months and has £570 in the account.. then they suspended my account. What happens to my money if i lose the appeal!?

Warning to anyone opening a new shop, I paid the asking fee, the next day they suspended my shop, extremely poor customer service, no help at all and they refused to refund me!
This looks to me like potentially a set up issue, if items in the shop set up process are mismatched or not done correctly, this can lead to an immediate suspension.

Ideally the account isn't suspended straight away. If it is, then sadly yes we need to go through this process, it's by no means ideal.

They don't make it easy for us as sellers that's for sure... Have you raised an appeal or emailed them to ask why?
