i use gelato for my print on demand and i don't get charged when upload a product do you know why?

Since from what I've heard, Printify does not handle returns of products and when creating my policy settings for my etsy store I wanted to turn off returns but when I do, etsy informs me about the consumer protection laws in the UK and EU. My question is whether i should enable returns or not because I know that I only lose money if I enable returns but since this law exists I don't know what I am supposed to do. I hope you understand my question.
