My feeling is that they just ban shops randomly, even if you follow all the suggested, they do it without reason and without warning and without explanation.
They do ban shops randomly. We went through the policies with a fine tooth comb and ensured we didnt violate anything.
Still suspended. No explanation. Denied appeal.
And still no clue what problem even was
I think you have to wait a few days and it gets activated back. I made 3 shops in the past 5 years and each one got banned right away the first day. It's not really a ban, they just take time to check out all the info. I really hope this is the case for you too, try to search the name of your banned shop in the Etsy search or try to log in every now and then
Have you tried the "Request a call from Etsy Support" option on the Etsy Help Center where you can talk with the Etsy support team? Here's the link: help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_sell_manage_listings-callback.
@@brandontimothy I lost my account as well - I called them and they emailed me back saying "We can't state why"

@@brandontimothyon call they said my case is escalate I have to wait for email but still didn't get any positive response..I still have chance for file appeal but I m afraid if that decline..
They suspended my shop straight away not giving me a chance to do anything. On top of that they still demanded payment for the initial listing they force you to create, even though it was removed within seconds.
Can you please make a full video on posting too many listings per day? I can't find any information on this at all. Can you show examples and is this something new? This is a massive subject that I think many sellers can benefit from please and thank you.

Hi Brandon, Regarding personal information, since I am 17 years old and I already have a debit card in my bank because in my country you can have an account and a card already at 16 years old, is there any rule on the etsy platform that you have to have more than 18 years to start a new shop

Just got banned yesterday and i see that i was off to couple of these tips.🤦♂
What if i m moving countries every now and then? What's happening then with my location and ip address?? Also, what if i start a new store on different ip address and move to the old one? Does it have to match with my physical address?

Starting a new store on a different IP shouldn't be an issue, but ensure your account details are accurate.
I wanted to see what a customer would experience when they will by my product. So i used my second etsy account to by one of my products and i was suspended. Should I admit my mistake to them in my appeal?
Never do that again. As for your appeal, it's best to be honest and admit your mistake. Explain that you wanted to understand the customer experience but now realize it was against Etsy's policies. Assure them it won't happen again moving forward.

When I do POD, which location should be visible below my shop name? The location/country of my POD (USA) or my own (Germany) ?
It's best to display the location of your POD provider below your shop name. This helps customers know where their products will be produced and shipped from.

I've been banned for life from Etsy because of copyright, yea 100% my fault. Do you think I'm banned by my name? Because when opening a shop or create an account, I should give my bank account (even if I can manage this), but I must give my ID, so they will see my name aren't they?

@brandontimothy I just started with process for listing 1st product in. The process from "shop preferences" till "your shop security". The process not yet complete the end of "your shop security". My account had been suspended with unknown reason and appeal had filed in a short while just received the etsy message that my account doesn't reinstated. I had emailed them to find out the reason but still unresponsive from Etsy. What should do?

Everyone who listens to most of this advice and other CZcamsrs are done. It is over for anyone who thinks you can bulk upload ever. You have to actually buy your POD now. No mockups allowed. It is over for low effort scammers. Real creators only now.
