In the 1980s, BMW factories in Germany had already used 7 different types of plastic, all of which could be recycled. BUT if there are no factories that can process it for reuse. I thinks we can do what we can do and sure we have to be working on zero emission or as low as possible to contribute to a cleaner world but. What i wonder is, the earth is 4,5 billion years old. Before we, mankand, where in these number walking the earth, there where also reverse of the poles, astroids and meteors blasting the earth, vulcano's erupting and ice ages etc etc. If we did not have anything tot do with these events, who did that and also changed the climate on earth. We only have weather forecasts and active climate measures for 200 years?? what do we people really know about the climate?

Grow up and learn that people have the right to debate and ask questions. The US is the country that have the least with environment and evolving. The majority of our houses have solar panels just like me. And that’s just 1 thing. How do you and the US do in that sector?? When didn't climate change in history? It always changes.
The netherlands goverment shouldn't put money into climate goals, because the land is sinking much faster then the sea is rising and that has nothing to do with climate change. Even if climate change will stop, the land will still keep sinking. In some area's 1cm each year. So the land will be 1 meter lower in 100 years even when the sea level doesn't rise... It is better to focus on that and work on solutions instead of climate change where the netherlands only can influence about 0.001 percent.

@tijmen-vm9lq There are cows that don't need dry land. They are less heavy and don't sink in the ground, but people want only the cheapest meat so farmers need the cheapest cows with the highest yield. Those cows are more heavy. One thing the goverment could do is to remove tax from meat and milk products so it will be more affordable for people. So those other type of meat will be more affordable to buy and some land will stop sinking. Did you know that because of the land sinking it also releases co2? Because of the ground beneath will rot. It should stay wet. There are a lot of things that can be done, but the sad thing is that you never hear climate people about that here in the Netherlands while it is a much bigger treath.
@@Harry420. Omdat boeren moeten overleven, en zolang allemaal van die regels komen met stikstof etc.. wordt het allemaal heel duur. Terwijl er bestaan koeien die veel minder zwaar wegen en een nattere grond aankunnen. Die dus niet in de grond zakken, maar de melkopbrengst is veel lager waardoor het niet echt rendabel is. Ik geloof dat er wel veel mogelijkheden zijn, maar innovatie kost vaak geld en terwijl de zeespiegel misschien een paar mm stijgt per jaar. zakken er delen een 1cm per jaar in Nederland. Het zakkende land is een veel grotere dreiging, dan dat klimaat gedoe. (hoewel ik ook vind dat dat er aandacht aan moet besteed) maar je kunt beter eerst jezelf redden lijkt mij als land.
