This Dragon Ball Z theory has been one one of the most requested in the history of BOTH the Game Theorists and Film Theorists and now it's finally HERE! the Kamehameha Wave is the most iconic piece of DBZ lore out there and it took some serious science to explain how we could bring this incredible power out of the TV series and into the real world! And finally, a big thanks to ALL the Theorists who requested this one--meeting your challenge on this one was super tough, but it's become one of my favorite in the series!

It's cannon that these fights are actually in slow motion and have been since the original dragonball series.
Remember lightning moves at a fraction of the speed of light so if the z fighters are able to see, dodge and even out run those blasts they must also be moving very close to the speed of light.

Doge Foxy maybe Toriyama was inspired by watching plasma bulbs interacting with each other, besides the origin of goku was inspired by a chinese mythology.
This video genuinely shaped such w big part of my childhood, it sent me on a path im glad i went, even if i never watched dragon ball z, it was one of the biggest reasons i got into anime. Thank you.

It's ironic that Chi Chi calls Goku and friends karate bums, but there grasp of science is at this degree to understand how their powers work to make effective techniques. Also isn't Gohan a physicist? But you that extra curricular field trips to planet Namek definitely taught him a lot.

Gotta say, that's using your brain because that is exactly what you would feel just far more intense which would likely include electrocution even if protected by an insulator. But he is also wrong there are more than four states of matter, many more. There are even states of matter with exotic properties like superfluids which if not contained correctly will just flow right out of a cup.. there are videos on CZcams where you can even watch a superfluid pass right through the glass of a cop because the fluid will actually flow between the atoms that make up the cup

***** yes, but not that kind of plasma. Blood plasma is the medical term for blood minus the stuff that makes blood clot. Meaning that is lasts longer outside the body so it is more useful for standard medical use.
I learned about plasma when I was around 8 years old because my uncle repairs lasers for companies around the United States.
Blood can be turned into plasma but it's not the same they just share a name.

Another fact to support this theory, when goku is in a spaceship he flys into an electromagnetic storm. And when he trys to do a kamehameha, it wobbles and sputters out. And as plasma is affected by mag feilds very heavily. That proves that the kamehamea is indeed plasma.

More like a day and a half but something thats realllly intense is Mr Satan managed to both become true friends with Buu and reform his reckless ways in the span of maybe a few minutes to an hour at best.

To explain your issue with Goku being a spirit in Broly Second Coming, you forgot that they mention in DBZ good people keep their body in Other World so they can continue to train and fight in the afterlife. So even though he was dead or a "spirit" he still very much had a physical body.
I have only 1 doubt.... People don't have their bodies after dying and if they have just like martial artists they don't know how to travel to earth again cause they would die in vacuum but Goku can come to earth even after dying so why he lived at King Kai's place???

solids, liquids, gases and plasma are the states you encounter in your daily life which is why people only talk about those in day to day talk, so next time how about you look stuff up. I`m pretty sure you could have found out a lot more by at least going to wikipedia.

Also, plasma isn't something you encounter everyday. The most plasma you experience in a day is the neon signs you might see. Otherwise, plasma isn't particularly abundant in this particular area of the universe.

A good theory for how they can generate these blasts is that they are moving their hands close to the speed of light. When a object travels this fast the gasses in front of it will become super heated due to air friction. As seen in Randal Monroe’s what if?, if a bace ball were to be thrown at 90% the speed of light the force generated would cause a fusion boom to occur. This boom would be powerful enough to challenge the Zar boom. The character in Dragon Ball, when they make the pushing movement with their hands, could actually be creating a shock wave by moving their hands at light speed. Their Ki could be just them concentrating to make such a fast movement.
This actually makes it look like DragonBall was scientifically researched before being drawn :O

I absolutely love each of his videos but he overlooked that in z when goku was heading to namak his ship started to get sucked in by a star so he Kamehameha d the star to propel himself and the ship away from the star. He was in a space suit outside the ship and made the Kamehameha beam outside the suit (in space still) where there is no atmosphere to heat
