The bits when she randomly pulls out her phone, looks at it, knits her eyebrows, then puts it away -- just perfect. Cecily Strong do totally inhabits this character; I feel like I've met this person at a party.
It's a great way to get rid of someone you don't want to talk to, just talk gibberish.

SNL will never be the same after losing all the best female cast members in 2022!!! Cecily’s farewell (Blue Christmas) was the most moving goodbye I’ve ever seen on the show. And I thought I cried hard when Kate’s Ms. Rafferty finally joined the aliens… seeing Colin surprise her by actually singing and looking at her like their souls are forever bound together by friendship… I’ve never cried harder watching SNL in my life 😢

Cecily Strong is one of the greatest cast members SNL has ever had, in its history. It’s been rough the last 5 years or so, but she is an absolute standout. Versatile as hell.
When I started watching SNL clips on You Tube, I almost didn't notice her. Then it dawned on me it's because she is a good actress. She seems to inhabit her characters while seldom going over-the-top.
Imagine what she could have done with Belushi, Gilda Radner, Chevy Chase etc.😅
