Just started Prosacea! Rosacea acne will hopefully be subtle soon. Once I use up my face moisturizer I am going to try out the Eucerine super thick cream as lotion doesnt seem to do much for my face... its still always dry even if I glob it on 😅😂
Dr dray, I have perpetual dry and red cheeks and my skin has like small raised bumps and the skin there is itchy and dry. It looks so textured especially made worse when putting foundation/makeup. Do you have any advice on what I can do ?
I think it would be taking it back to basics! Bc I have same issue and I’ve been following Dr Dray and Dr Idriss too. Basically a simple moisturizer and a use Vaseline on top and sunscreen during day :)
@@Heatherrosedef genuine question but how does vaseline not cause more acne/comedones? Doesn't it trap dirt and bacteria on the skin?? I love vaseline but I'm too afraid to put it on my face 😭
I’m happy to see your responses here, I forgot about this comment but I had done a peel a month ago and saw such great benefits from it. I understand that my nose is oily and the heavy moisturizers I’ve been using for years (to avoid aging and wrinkles) was causing congestion on my skin that led to textures and blocked pores and the cleanser I was using was not really helping. I always felt there was gunk on my face. The lactic and glycolic acid was a game changer for me and I also started using oil free moisturizer (specifically the neutrogena hydro boost, new formula) and I feel it has really helped my nose and pores stay clear and at the end of the day when I wash my face I don’t feel the bumpy gunky texture anymore, I don’t feel a heavy film on my face. I’ve decided to invest in mini peels/at home peels moving forward and invest in medical skincare. The glycolic/salicylic acid/lactic acid toner really helped me a lot! I just wish I had someone analyze my skin better to know what type it is and what it needs!
Can rosacea cause scarring? I think yes, but I need a professional answer. Since if somebody with rosacea picking the rosacea pustules and papules those are gonna scar and end up having PIE just like in case of acne
Can you develop rosacea in your mid 20s if u never had it before, or from an allergic reaction? I can’t tell if my skin is still healing from an allergic reaction, if it’s irritation, or another condition I’ve developed
I wish she would answer or do a short or vid on how to control it cause personally I use those actives in my routine except for vitamin c and don't know if it's making it worse or if I just occasionally have tomato face 😅
It definitely can, rosacea skin is sensitive skin, although you totally can use retinols and vitamin c on rosacea skin just be careful not to over do it :)

I have found that the cicaplast balm from la roche posay does wonders for my skin and helps control it but since it's a thick consistency I only apply it at night. Hope this helps 😊
I have found less is best Wash face once a day, w warm water. Use a gentle face cleanser & moisturizer. Aveeno Calm and restore oat cleanser is excellent. Dont forget the sunscreen😊

Does BHA, retinol, and/or Vitamin C aggravate rosacea?

She has done more detailed videos on rosacea in the past. Yes, all those will aggravate rosacea.
Same here 🫨my rosacea goes crazy with Aa 😵💫
I have rosacea. Less is best. Gentle face wash, moisturizer and sunscreen
Thats it😊
How about type 2 rosacea?
Exactly. That’s what I have. I get whiteheads from being in the sun.
Can accutane help with blackheads?
accutane is only a last resort in treating stuff, try topicals first
