It’s my favourite lens! Had to get use to the 33 mm after shooting with a 23 mm for a long time.
Like you said it takes a little time to adapt at least for me it did, but it's also very addictive once you get use to it. Enjoy !
The filter size is exactly why I'm considering this lens as well as an addition to my 18-55mm.
As you have used the lens for a couple more months now, how has it been treating you? Is it a great addition to your 18-55mm? Have you been using it as much as you would like to? Does it "add" to your photography? Thanks for the video!
I’ve been going back and forth between this and the 23 1.4 - Fuji makes it way too hard to choose just one! 😂
Optically it is excellent but I wish the focal length was a little wider. For me it is somewhat of a compromise. The focal length is too narrow to be used as a walk around lens and a bit too wide to be used as a portrait lens. I often use it in sports mode when shooting portraits.
Well made video, it was nice to watch, thanks! 33mm is an excellent lens if you need reliable autofocus in video and stable excellent quality at any aperture, and with WR it's very versatile. But if compactness and photography are in priority, then 35mm f/1.4 is still an excellent option with more character in it (less perfection).
