HOW TO CATCH WAVES SKIMBOARDING | Pumping & Side Slipping EXPLAINED

- How to Skimboard with Garrett Abdulla. I teach you the techniques on how to skimboard out to a wave. The pumping technique is used to stay above the water which allows you to not sink while you are trying to get out to a wave. The side slipping or "planing" technique allows you to maintain your speed generated from running out to the wave you are trying to catch. @@GarrettAbdulla yaya, thought there will be a topic about weigh and hand position something(saw people wave and touch the water when backside), btw, the point of view you explain about pumping timing is great.(I used to think it can generate speed and saw people pump from the beginning )
