Merry Christmas my friends. Enjoy with your families and be safe. Ho ho ho.

I run three Minidsp's because I built my own speakers and use the DSPs as my crossover and eq. One for my Subs, one for the left and right, and one for the center channel. Then I run Audyssey seems to work pretty well.

Im in the same boat as you.
Using a MiniDSP 2x4hd to EQ 2 subs individually to flat over the listening position using moving microphone measurements.
Afterwards Audyssey is run. Fullrange for surrounds and Atmos speakers (having a difficult and asymmetric room),but limited to approx.400Hz for the mains.
This works pretty well for TV upmixing to dolby as well as general HT usage.
If playing music from my PC Dirac stereo is run over the Audyssey corrected system, leading to a measurably and subjectively better sound.
I went as far as creating a separate Dirac Filter for upmixing stereo music with Auro3D which tends to boost base.
